Not sure if this has been posted here, but my friend told me about these and I am now sharing with you. These are postage stamps available thru the U.S. Postal Service which I think are going to be the perfect addition to the cards I send. (I don't know how to make the image smaller~~sorry!)
Hey, I just went online and ordered some of these darling stamps!
In case some of you don't know, it's very convenient to order special stamps from USPS online.
You just go to USPS, click buy stamps, and all the fancy stamps show up. You create an account and purchase them with a credit card. The shipping/handling is only $1.30, which is very reasonable and more convenient for me than going to the post office and waiting in line. Also, many times my PO is out of the fancy stamps that I want.

I really love the forever stamp concept...no more randomly priced stamps sitting in my drawer gathering dust! They are really cute-nabbed some today when I went to the PO to mail a card that had to go in a padded envelope.
I didn't know about buying online until I read your post above, so thank you! If my PO doesn't have these I will order them. Can you believe I am too cheap to spend the $1.30 to have them shipped otherwise?!?! But how much do I hand over to SU! to ship stamping supplies?!?! I make no sense! Actually, since I walk around town several times a week, it is easy to walk in to the PO to check, hence why I don't want to spend the shipping fee, but if they don't have them, I will totally pay it to get these cuties!

I totally understand - I am known in my family as the Queen of Cheap! My PO is down the road, so I can rationalize the gas and wear and tear on my car to justify the $1.30. If I was close enough to walk, I would probably be like you.

Why is it in Canada our only permanent stamps are patriotic or about hockey?
They did have some a few years ago with rabbits on them in the winter, but other than that, I haven't seen any other than the ones with Canadian flags. I haven't seen the ones with hockey stuff on them. I'm not a hockey fan (OMG don't tell other Canadians I said that! :p).

Ha Ha! I won't tell on you if you don;t tell on me! I think they are only on-line, so probably not rerdily available at the PO.
