Default Fiskars is amazing!

Just a quick thread to say how happy I am with their customer service. The wire on my paper trimmer frayed so I went to their website and left a message. I did not hear back from them, but today an entire new paper trimmer arrived. I was just hoping for a new blade arm.

Just love hearing stories like this!

A few years ago, I got a Making Memories trimmer. There was a defect in the coating on the trimmer, and the grid lines rubbed off in places. I emailed them about it. They didn't ask for a pic, or for me to send the defective one back. They sent me a brand new one, retail about $50! I still have the first one as back up. It is perfect, except for the faded grid lines.

I had a problem with a Making Memories cutter (user error admittedly) and phoned them to see if I could get a replacement part and they said I shouldn't have used it like that and I would have to buy a new cutter, very rude and unhelpful. Needless to say I didn't buy another one.

I had a Fiskars punch where the plastic handle fell off of the metal. It is a squeeze punch. So, I tried taping the handle for over a year. Then I remembered that they have a lifetime guarantee. I don't remember if they asked for a photo, but they replaced the punch with a new one. The one I had was not available, so I picked a different one. It was great to receive a new one and the shipping was wonderful!
