Finished!
Ok..so it's 8:40 the night before Valentines....but I finally finished making the teacher's gifts (adorable mailboxes) and sucker covers for 54 4th graders. Wow! I've got to get this procrastination thing under control. Everything is boxed up and ready to go to school tomorrow. I'm so happy.
Hope everyone else is already done with any crafty valentines gifts for tomorrow. Now I just have to finish my children's gifts once they are asleep for the night.
Happy Valentines!
Shawn

Hey that would have been a good idea...but I didn't think about it before I securely boxed up the lot of it so my twins could take it on the bus in the morning. I'll let you know if I get the energy up to unpack that box before it gets on the bus at 7:00am. And I thought I was so together. Oh well

You've got me beat
Mine are finished but still drying! I did giant clothespins for the teachers -- I'll post pics later.

I bought those clips also, but I haven't made them yet. Did you paint the whole thing? Or just the wooden part? I think I'm going to make those as spring gifts for some teachers I work with. I'm looking forward to seeing your pics.

Wow...I don't have any energy left to do anything...I am going to make some nugget tents for my coworkers...and I made 85 of them for the staff at our school (from the PTO...I'm on the board). But I'm too tired to make individual teacher gifts and/or cards. They get the gift of having my children's presence in their classrooms. LOL!

Wow, now I feel guilty! I made a great card for my DH and my poor son got a crappy 2 min card (which I am sure he will love anyways). Nothing for the teachers, I was going to do something for my stamp club and just plain forgot! uuugggg

I made mailboxes for all my kids classmates and finished them up this afternoon. I also did candies for the teachers. Now I am debating on whether I should do mailboxes for the teachers too. We didn't have school today and am still waiting to see if we do tomorrow. My kids will be sooo dissapointed if they don't get to have their Valentine's parties. I still plan on doing something for my DD's gymnastics team before tomorrow night. Sounds like I will be spending another day in my craft room. Oh well there are worst places to be.

My kids made the majority of their Valentine's yesterday, I stayed up till 12:30 last night finishing them only to wake up this morning to find out school is cancelled because of ice...Bummer!!! Oh well, I will have a little stamp time to myself then!

clothespins
The giant clothespins are clothespins that are about 6 inches high and an inch and a half wide. I tried to post a link to where I got them (Oriental Trading) but I can't get their site to come upl. I went with the white ones since I was pretty sure I would not be able to paint them neatly. I just mod podged patterned paper and my other doo dads on to them. They are a super quick project and very fun to do. I'll post my pics later but if you search the gallery for clothespins you'll find a lot of samples!
