Default Finding about church craft fairs?

How do you find out about church crafts fairs in your area? My friends and I want to sell our crafts: jewelry, cards, quilts, bean bag animals, etc. All the local shows are juried exhibits with 1 vendor per booth, with fees up to $200 per booth. We want to share a booth. I figured church shows would be cheaper, but don't know who has them.

Does anyone have any suggestions for us?

TIA
Nancy

It's been my experience that most churches limit their booths to members only and don't let the general public participate as vendors. You'd have better luck contacting your area public schools. I did a show a few years ago at a high school in the next district over and paid about $40 to have a 10-foot space for two days.

I would start calling some churchs, schools and community centers in your area. I did this after I moved to NY and even tho the school may not have had a craft fair, they knew of someone else in charge of one and gave me their name. I got a few leads this way.

I'm from Mass, and I've never been a member of the church or had kids in the school that had the fairs..it was open to anyone. Some did limit the # of direct selling companies (1 SU demo, etc) per fair.

In our area we have a local paper that sometime you will find information about Craft Fair. Looking for Crafters to sign up.
Church Craft Fairs, I have done a few of them.
No I didn't belong to the church that I did the craft show at.
Try looking in your local Paper.
