Default Favorite Colors used for Christmas cards

I have seen this posted before and was not able to locate the complete list. I recently changed computers, so lost all the favorites I had saved in my favorites. You all are a great resource, and I would appreciate your suggestions. I have a stamp a stack planned for Oct. 30th, and need one more Christmas card. Thanks to you all.

I just got my stamp-a-stack for 11/13, all cut today!!! 10 cards, 2 cards of each different design, and this is what I came up with for color combinations:

Real Red and Glorious Green

Night of Navy and Bordering Blue

Old Olive and Rose Red

Mellow Moss, Eggplant Envy and Baroque Burgundy (alittle "out of the box" but it still looks Christmas-y. Use the EE as an accent color)

Ruby Red and Garden Green

All the cards also incorporate US white.

Hope this helps!! ~Pam

Personally I love the Rich Regals combo with vanilla-they make simple cards look sooo elegant!! (imo of course) For kids cards I use the Bold Brights since my Camden sends out hos own cards each year for his cousins and buddies.

I truly love all of the "traditional" Christmas colors, and have used them for 3 years in making my Christmas cards. I thought I would be unconventional this year and try something different...but a little nervous about it. I am using my SU Snow Angels (retired this year) and my CS is tempting turquoise, pink passion and green galore. I know...its a little OUT THERE...but I thought would look really nice together. they have recently become my favorite colors and thought would be appropriate with the child making a snow angel. I will also be using my SU bright pink organdy ribbon and whatever else I can find. Have not yet decided on a great idea for t he card, so I am open to suggestions. I also need a great "phrase" for the card, something to tie in the child and snow angel and Christams. This is probably a whole lot more than the original thread was about, but I got carried away. My point was that traditioanl colors are great for Christams cards, but trying something different is great too.

I like Creamy Caramel and Ruby Red for an old style natural look.

I love Navy and Silver - looks very elegant. Also, brocade blue with silver for snowmen and snowflakes is a nice combination. I do not really like red and green at all!

I always like baroque burgundy and forest foliage together. This combo looks great alone or combined with gold, either cs or embossing.

Default Favorite Colors used for Christmas Cards

I just am doing a Stamp a Stack and find I'm surprised at the choice of colors I used that are the winners with my customers!! I did a Snowflake card with Mauve Mist and Almost Amethyst on white that people loved. I wasn't sure about it, but try to do a variety of colors and that one was a favorite. Close to Cocoa on Burgundy came out well too.

I used Ruby Red, Creamy Caramel, and Old Olive with Sunny Season's Greetings last year. It looked very festive. I'm thinking Bordering Blue and Night of Navy with a touch of silver this year.

I used the fun with shapes circle in brilliant blue and the ornament top in more mustard with USW and matching card stock and I thought it looked cool if you want something different.
