Default Fabulous Flowers question

I have a question for those that own this stamp set. I see that a lot of you make the big flower in layers. Do you stamp the entire flower mulitple times and than cut out the portions you don't then layer? Or are you able to stamp only once and just cut out the layers very carefully? Does it take a long time? Thanks.

I have stamped the image multiple times for the number of layers that I wanted. For the inside layers you do not have to stamp the whole image. What I do is ink the stamp and use it as I would a background stamp, turning it over so that it is face up and putting the cardstock on top of the stamp. That way you can use scraps for the inner layers.
