i seem to make much more than i send....surprise !!

i would like to donate them.....what are some organizations that would like cards? and when you donate, i assume you also include envelopes as well?

I always make donations to From Out Hearts. They are a wonderful group of volunteers who put together cards and card fronts for our service men and women. You can find their website at http://www.fromourhearts.info

Here is a link where you can donate cards to a women's prison

i sent an email to the RMH in Charlotte NC...it's closest to me in Hickory NC. i added a link to my blog so they could check out some i have made....dont know if they will....

i hope they can use them...thanks to all for your suggestions.

I donate to Operation Write Home, you can send envelopes along but it isn't required!

In the past I have given cards to the local senior center but since my hubby will be deploying in August I am saving cards for his unit. I do remember how much the seniors loved and appreciated the cards.

I agree with Sportchick....Operation Write Home! Get those extra cards out and get them going to our armed forces so they have cards to wirte home!

Why not send cards to friends for a "Just Because". I'm sure the card would make it a brighter day for them also!

Sometimes I send a little box along to the home my Nana lives in. She puts it in the tea room and they are used by the residents to send to their families. Nana told me that cards are often one of the first things to be sacrificed when funds are tight on a pension.
I also like to send a 'just because' card to someone, in the hope that it brightens their day!
