Work with any other markers? Not that I don't absolutely love Copic markers, they are just a little too expensive for me right now. But I really would love to apply the airbrushed on my projects. Any suggestions other than acrylic paint?
I don't think you can fit another marker into it, since it's made to specifically hold the Copic markers. If you can find other alcohol-based markers that are similiar in shape, it might work...
I have used SU markers with my Copic airbrush, it left something to be desired like another marker that would fit better. It was very hard to get the tip of the SU marker in the air stream and when I tried to hold the airbrush in one hand the air flow was not "smooth" enough to get good coverage. In other words, I have not found any markers that will fit and work well!
You might be lucky and a pop dot/dimensional might hold your markers better. I have tried this with copic caio to get them to fit in the air nozzle and it worked fine. Worth a try.
