Default Does anyone sell an empty marker.where you can add your own color by using a reinker

Just curious if you can by an empty marker.like the cartridages.then you just add your own refill to it to get the color you need.I would really like to have markers to have of the new in colors so that I will have all the pads, paper reinkers and markers to go with them.

Then I can just add reinkes to the markers. Is there anything like this out in the market that anyone knows of.

Is it possible to add the ink to a blending pen and add enough to use as a marker.

If you dip the tip of your marker into a drop of reinker you can use it as a marker. works well. Eventually you'll need to "re-dip" when the color runs out, but it takes a while.

See Amy's awesome tutorial for what I'm talking about.

I saw an earlier post where 1 drop of reinker was added to a BLENDER PEN. The demo was even able to use the new SPRITZER TOOL with it. I have not tried it personally...sounds like she had success with it! Hope that helps.

The tutoral by AmyR mentioned above (which is awesome) is definitely using the blender pens which would be temporary and would need to be re-inked every time you need to use one of those colors.

If I understand your question correctly, you are looking for a way to make markers using the new colors that stay that way indefinitely. Maybe you can use an inexpensive brush ended marker in a similar color (like a rose art or Marvy type), open it up and take out the fillament inside and the brush tip, rinse the color out of everything with water, let the fillament inside dry, then reink with one of the new colors. I haven't done this, in fact, I don't even have the new colors yet. But I'm glad you are bringing this up bc I just may do this myself!

You can fill a blender pen using a syringe filled with any color refill you want. This makes a permanent marker, not temporary. Good luck!

Yes, I was going to suggest trying dried-up blender pens or markers. Although, in 10 years + of stamping, I have very few markers that have dried up!

Well I actually have some blender pens that are 3 years old and are drying up so I will defintlly use them for the new colors and add some ink tot hem thanks so much,I'll have to reoder some blender pens.

In fact now that I think of it I believe TAC sells them and you just add the refills to them they sell the empty dove pens and refill.I can't believe I just thought of it.WOW.now I can start out with an empty blender pen and just use the reink as a marker.way too cool.

http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/1406-AA.shtml I don't know if those would work or not. I've used the fantastics which are listed in the picture to the right. The fantastics work ok but they wouldn't really be for long term use because they are enclosed so they would dry up.

I took two of my dried up blender pens that I got from Micheal's, and pulled out the wide tip on them, then just put the bottle over the opening and dropped in about 25 drops of reinker, then put the wide tip back in very carefully, added 2 drops of ink to the small tip (just to get it going) and 3 drops to the brush tip, now I have a cranberry crisp marker, and a cool carribian marker, they worked great. Left them sitting on their sides last night and they work beautifully today! Definately try them!

I LOVE fantastix too, they come in either bullet (blunt) tip or brush tips. You can use them for anything! Make a marker from any ink or re-inker you have. I also use them as blending pens and to apply chalks!

I love the fantastix as well. I have tons of them and can't wait to get my reinkers so I can have matching markers Might try the blender pens as well and compare the 2.
