Default do you trim bellas?

I bought a bunch of Bellas and they came today (yay!). However--when I looked at them, it seemed like they have a lot of excess rubber at the edges. Should I trim them or is there a reason for the excess rubber that my little pea brain doesn't know?

Ah! I got some Bella-love in the mail today, as well.

Trim them and ink up, girl!

I don't have actual "bella" stamps but I have stamps from Stamping Bella and I always trim them when I mount them. I am really bad for ink marks if my stamps are not closely trimmed. (I'm a bit clumsy!)

I've never really felt a need to trim my Bellas, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt!

I have some Bella's that I've trimmed and some that I have not - just depends. Usually I'll trim them closer if I'm trying to position things well and want a better idea of where her feet will stamp, etc. I've not had to trim any due to ink getting on the edges and then stamping where I don't want it.

I've always trimmed all the stamps I get from Stamping Bella - I mount them all on black EZmount (the thin stuff) then trim closer around the stamps - I just like them better that way )

I rarely have to trim mine. Try inking yours up first. If you notice ink along the side edges, which could transfer to your paper if you press too hard, then give them a little trim.
Happy crafting with your new stamps!!

I always trim mine as I mount them on ez mount. I just like them trimmed closer than they come from the store. If I trim them I can fit more in my storage system. And I worry about ink marks as well.

If they are larger images and I put them on EZ Mount, then yes, I do trim them. But if I use them nekkid, I don't trim at all...they're perfect!
