When I stamp with my SIL's or friends - We all share our stamps and inkpads- but ribbons. embellisments and cardstock we all bring our own. SOmetimes we will share abit if someone asks if they need that right color but that about it.

I share and give away probably more than I should, but its fun I think. I have clubs and classes at my home at least 3 weekends a month. I could care less about ink on my wood etc. I would never want anyone to feel bad that they got ink on some wood, life is wayyy to short to worry about that. However with that said, I have been letting everyone use my prismas (the 120 count) and they are getting ruined. No matter how many times I tell people to color gently, some are using them just as regular colored pencils not even using the gamsol. Now with 25 girls using them, they will go fast, and I dont make money at this stuff so its a bit harder to replace, so I bought a regular pack of colored pencils at acmoore for $10 and if someone just wants to color, they can use those. I have also had them purchase a "kit", glue pen, blender, tape, glitter pen etc and they always bring their own adhesive. Some people will take better care of things when they have to pay for them. My friends (and new gals) walk in my craft room and say it is like being in Joanns but everything is open. They are free to use all my stuff because I have soooo much that I will never use..I'm a just gotta have it type of girl, and I like people coming over to "play"

I share everything! We have a group of gals, some stamping veterans and some newbies. When we get together, it's usually a case of the vets teaching the newbies some fun technique, and then we sit and practice! Or it's sharing tools like our Cuttlebugs and Nesties so that those who don't have them can decide if it's something they want. The whole point of getting together with crafty friends is the comraderie--I can replace anything else!

I share a lot of stuff. My friends think I am too pushy about sharing! It is funny but hard to explain. We all share and have fun!

any adult that hangs out in my craft room can ask and use anything. Kids, not so much! I like buying new things, so I don't mind. And I am not super picky about stamps, if the wood gets dirty, etc. As long as they stamp fine I am good.

I recently made a bunch of stuff for my sister to use at work, and she was nervous about using my stuff. I told her I wouldn't use anything that would make me crabby to give to her. Then she was fine. It was just paper that I stamped and stuff like that, not actual tools or stamps! I didn't care at all. Oops, I did give her some foam kids stamps and told her she didn't have to return them. They were bought for a specific occasion, and I didn't ever use them.

But, I don't really loan stuff out either. I would forget who had it in a heartbeat.

I guess it depends with who and what it is. I would share most anything COMMA BUT... when my nephew wanted to borrow one of my copics to color instead of one of his makers b/c he liked the color I was using better. I spent the next 5 minutes looking thru his markers to find a comparable color, he's 6.

Of all the crafts I do and all the workshops I have taught, Scrapper and Stampers are the most share-ful people ever! Quilters-mmm not so much. Cooks-mmm practically never. Painters will share techniques and teach but not so much brushes and paint. By far my fav teaching is Scrappers and Stampers.

I had a stamp set come up missing one time at a crop- called everyone I knew that borrowed stuff... they all assured me multiple times they checked through their things and no one found it. I think it was about 2 years later when I was stamping at my BFF's house and her sister was storing her things there. I looked through her stamps just to see if she had something for a scrapbook page I was working on when lo and behold there was the exact stamp set I was missing. I picked it up and said "hey, I didn't know your sister has the same set I have been missing for so long" turned it over and guess who's address label is on the bottom?! You got it! I've never let her live it down!

But yeah, I share, my stamps for sure (have even lent them out although sometimes it is against my better judgement). You know, no matter how stained and awful (or loved!) they look, they still stamp the same!

The consumables I don't mind if I have multiple, but it is so hard to give up that last whatever!

Obviously, I am out of the loop - but what are Copics?
You should only ask this question if you want to open yourself to another area of stamping addiction! Lol! Copics are alcohol based artist markers. They are blendable, don't show streaks and come in a zillion colors.

I share when I get the chance. Part of the fun is getting together. I haven't had much luck having people over to do the together things since I moved a couple of years ago.
Now, loaning is a different story. I will do it, but I'm alot more careful about that.

I just wish I had someone to share with, that would like sharing with me. I used to have a group of ladies that I could stamp with and we shared everything, but we did have our stuff with our names on it. But then I moved 5 years ago and haven't had anyone to share with. The local scrapbook store closed over a year ago and the closest one is over an hour away. I did get together with 2 SU demos once with each. The first one took an order from me and never delivered it, then quit. The second one was really sweet, but quit too. I have tried unsuccessfully to go to stamp camps that are in my state. The problem is the closest ones are over 100 miles away, and something has come up with prior committments that have kept me from joining them. The only people that have even shown an interest in stamping in my area are the little girls at my church, and my cub scouts. Since the oldest of them is 13, I don't bring my prismas, or anything really fragile to share.

I don't have a lot of people I know that are into this like I am, but I would share most of my stuff. I use to go to a crop held near my house and I would share most of my toys that I took. The one thing I won't share tho is my CraftRobo. Its too expensive and if someone else broke it, I know they wouldn't replace it, so thats out of bounds.

This must be very frustrating for you. Keep searching you will find your group. Or just move back to where you use to live, LOL!! Wish it was that simple, huh. Good luck.

I have two sisters and about 6 other friends who we try to get together at least once a month to play. They all know that they can help themselves to ANY item in my room with no questions asked. They would do the same for me. I love to spend time with these ladies and I also need to say that no one takes advantage. Stamps are easy because you just dont use them up...lol

I share with my friends who also stamp and know how to take care of my stamps, inks, etc. but I would never share at a stamp camp or with others who might not take as good of care of my products as I would. I don't think you are stingy... but you make an investment in your supplies!

I don't mind sharing with friends who I know understand the value of what they're using. But I have a hard time packing up and going to someone else's place to stamp because I can never commit ahead of time to what I want to make - I don't know why - I'm not usually indecisive! My place is really too small to have friends in so I usually just stamp with friends at workshops where sharing isn't really an issue. My 6 year old nephew used some of my SU markers this weekend and was a little rough on them. I cringed a little but told myself they are replaceable - Copics might have been a different story!!

I share everything with my BFF. And I lend out to her too. I mean I won't lend out my trimmer because then how would I cut paper. But I've lent her my ATG, (trying to get her hooked on it, because she's always out of adhesive.) That friend I share everything. She had never tried Papertrey cardstock, I had a few extra packs, handed them over, She can consider my ribbon collection her own, she has no interest in copics but she's welcome to them. I can't think of anything crafty I would not share with her.

The girls I occasionally stamp with I would share with but when I go to a crop I always bring exactly what I need. So if someone happens to need white ink and that's what I happen to have brought they can use it, but usually it doesn't come up. (cept with roniece and her stinking adhesive issues, haha).

No one but Roniece ever crops here, but if I had another friend who was on the crop in my home level they would have free range here too.

I won't lend out to anyone except Roniece.

I share with friends, and they share with me...BUT we are all stampers, so we're careful not to damage others' things. A few girls from work have asked me to bring in my stuff for a stamping session, but I'm a little wary...

I only have one stamper that I stamp with. I would share anything with her or lend her anything, because she is much more careful about EVERYTHING (like ink on wood blocks) than I am. All of my own stamps already have ink stains on them (put there by me lol).

But I would not lend to anyone else.

I do share when I am with people though. I brought some stamps with me when I visited my niece (2 years old) and nephew (4 years old) and let them stamp away to their hearts' content. They did stamp on normal xerox paper however, not cardstock. *grin* I also brought a scalloped Marvy punch and they loved punching out flowers.

And then I have two cousins who are 5 and 10 and I share with them too. Now they are older than my niece and nephew, so I don't mind giving them cardstock (PTI cardstock too!) to stamp on.

Those are the only people I share with I guess. Only 'cause those are the only people I stamp with.

Though, at workshops and parties, I will bring my own ATG gun (and stickles and white gel pen) and share it with whoever's sitting next to me, to save them from those awful glue sticks.

I went to a workshop for probably a year and half, once a month, $10 each time, for the sole purpose of finding a stamping friend! It was worth it!!!!!

I share my equipment (punches, CB, nesties etc) with friends I stamp. I let everyone use my stamps, however I don't mind if the wood mounts get a little inky. It makes me feel good that they are getting used. If I had copic markers, I would think twice about letting someone use them without my supervision since they are so pricey. I've seen people at stamp classes push hard and ruin waterbase markers. I don't go to many classes anymore but I used to bring my large selection of waterbase markers and didn't share because I knew class mates would be rough on them.
