But do you sometimes have wine or alcoholic beverages while you stamp? Does this help you relax and make your creativity juices flow more? Just wondering...
Once in a blue moon I enjoy having a few beers with a friend while we stamp. I may have some wine while I stamp this weekend. Wondering about your experiences.

Personally, I enjoy a good, well-made appletini when stamping solo, or with good buddies! I dunno that it enhances my creativity all that much, but I sure do giggle a lot more! ;)

Nah, I'm a cheap drunk--half a glass of wine and I feel all funky, and I don't particularly like feeling funky, so I usually have a quarter a glass of wine with dinner only. It's a shame 'cause I really like the taste of wine. Or maybe it's a good thing! Given that I cut everything with a craft knife and quilting ruler, it could get pretty dangerous if I weren't totally sober!!!
All things in moderation, and to each her own. If ya like a beer with stamps, go right ahead. If not, don't. Just be careful with the sharp instruments!
When me and the girls get together we sometimes have few drinks, just to socialize and have fun. I can say that we have never drank too much so that when we look at the cards later saying, "what the he** were we thinking?". So as of yet, we've had no bad "side effects". Thanks for asking. =)
Nope. I am usually stamping alone in my closet, so I usually sip out of SCS mug icy cold water. I do enjoy my wine or dault beverages during dinner though.

Yes, but here's my tip.....NEVER DRINK RED WINE!! I spun around in my computer chair to go back to the stamp table and knocked it over. Thank goodness it fell on the computer desk, not the stamp table! It didn't mess up the computer at all (aside from the part that spilled in the keyboard and eventually brought ants! yuck, had to chuck that keyboard). But it did stain the wall behind the computer! THank goodness this was before dh painted it for my birthday!
Anyway, that's my story! I prefer mojitos now, they are clear!

I've never tried but maybe that's what I need to just relax and not think about every card for two hours!! I love sangria so maybe I should go get some.
Then again, I have a stamp event I am going to tomorrow that I need to be early for so maybe it should wait until tomorrow night.
Yay, I am going to be with Betsy Cypcar, my incredible SU demo and Trudee among others!! Maybe it would make her head too big if I ask her for an autograph her being a new DD member and now a published artist right! LOL, just kidding Trudee! (about the head part anyway).
this is so funny. I don't tend to, but when I quilt I love to have a beer. (I don't even like beer that much) I think that when I'm quilting I've already decided on the pattern, and have limited color choices of fabric so I find it relaxing. I think w/my stamping I have too many choices and I'm usually trying to get samples for a workshop so I have limited time, so I tend not to drink.
Not while stamping.... but before and after.... I don't trust myself with drinks around my stamping... when we get together at club we always have wine/beer/punch in the kitchen.... sometimes we just go out to the local watering hole after sometimes it's just nice to pamper yourself a little and forget the day's events.

If I drank anything other than diet pepsi or tea while I stamped, I'm afraid of what I might see when I'm done. So no, I don't drink anything other than dt pepsi or tea...and besides I'm really not a drinker.
Yummmm...Appletini..Mojito...Wine... Yep! I enjoy having a beverage while stamping with or without anyone else sharing the experience. I rarely drink in excess, but every once in a while...

Strawberry Daiquiris!!!! My good friends husband makes them for us and then he drives her to my house and we have a great time. Sometimes it is malt beverages with chocolate but usually we have some kind of drink. Makes the creativity so much better. My best friend usually likes to have a drink but she is pregnant and can't wait to join us again!!!!! As long as no one drinks and drives We have a great time.

LOL!! The girls were teasing me about that last night when we were setting up! I said ya'll give me a BREAK I am just a DORK!!!!, no one would want my autograph!!
Strawberry Margarita!!! Yum! Occasionally will have a drink, but usually only if stamping/scrapping late evening. Makes me sleepy. I will also sometimes have a shot of Drumgrey whisky cream liquor - very yummy - liquid chocolate alchaolic beverage! Dont know if you can get it over there, but it rocks! Of course, I just sip at the shot - got to savour the moment.
Bunch of my neighbours are getting together tonight to stamp while hubbies take care of the kids. And yes, the Pina Coladas will be flowing along with all our artistic juices.

I do enjoy having the odd drink. Not usually while I'm stamping though. After two drinks, I would most certainly wake up face first in a pad of Certainly Celery. :-D

Mmmmmmmm.....beer! I love an icy cold beer before, during and/or after stamping!! I think it does aid in creativity at times...LOL! Helps you not to overthink things to death!!

OMG - that was so funny - I was laughing so hard that I was a little bummed when I scrolled down and saw you were just kidding - lol. I was thinking of how dirty my fingers get when I eat doritos.... and thinking about the munchies - I was sure your cards would have orange finger prints on them - lol

mmmmm....only the best drink EVER! We had them all the time in Mexico and now I have drilled my husband and he can make a perfect one! It's rum, club soda, mint leaves, superfine sugar and limes! You gotta check out the bacardi site with the vistual tutorial on how to make one...I love how it says mojito, cracks me up!

I sure wish I had a Bud Lite now -- not that I like beer - but if I had a six pack of Bud Lite, I could really make some good money selling it here! I have heard people say they would give $50 - $100 for a beer ;)
I haven't tried the drinking and stamping thing yet, maybe I will tonight. Who knows, maybed it will help me to not be so darn picky (or as hubby would say, OCD).:lol:

mmmmm mojitos - ya know I have a mojito rim trimmer that is SO yummy - it's got sugar/lime/mint and what not in it and is awesome w/ those (and lemonade - spiked or otherwise ;)).
Do you have drinks while stamping?
At night after theyre in bed tho an ice cold beer and some stampin can't be beat!!
