Do You Find?
Does anyone else find themselves not looking at the Todays addition of the gallery since we can now do a SUO search? Don't get me wrong there are lots of beautiful cards there and lots of talent. But since this search has become avail i find myself neglecting that section.

I don't usually look just at SUO (I don't do SUO--so it isn't important to me). I still look at today's additions one day--challenge uploads another day--or I search for a theme or manufacturer.
I am fairly random.
But I have no doubt that the SUO feature gets a good many hits.

SUO for me too. It was getting to be a 30 minute a day chore to scan through everything new!

Nope, not me. During the day I may check the most recent uploads, CAS, or challenge gallery's, depending on my mood.

I have a hard time keeping up with the today's additions just because there are so many! When I started on SCS there were maybe 5 pages of 48 per day...now it's 12-15 pages of 96. I can't quite give up at least scanning over all of them, though, so spend a good chunk of time on the weekends viewing uploads. Once I get over one week behind I think I may finally let go of the compulsion to see it all...but that hasn't happened yet!

I just randomly search and look over the gallery here and there. Lately I really don't have time to cruise thru the gallery (because it's so big) and mainly just look over all the message board things. I don't think I have ever looked up only SU related cards unless I'm looking for a particular stamp set to either see what the stamps look like or to get some inspiration.

I look at the daily uploads. Tend to view the challenges first, but a couple of times a day I like to look at the general uploads as well and always see something worth the time it took to have a quick browse. The SUO doesn't really affect me.

I have been getting into the habit of just checking the gallery for the daily challenge..and I have a list of a few girls whom I check their galleries for new uploads. Although last week I had some time to just check the recent uploads and I realized how many wonderful cards I was missing. I favourited quite a few that day. So now I try to do a quick scan of the recent uploads.
If someone is kind enough to leave a comment on my card, I try very hard to look at their gallery and do the same. I have come across many wonderful cards and galleries this way that I would have otherwise missed.

Good Grief! Going to SUO would not work for me at all. I'd miss lots of absolutely gorgeous creations using all kinds of stamps from lots of companies. SUO would get very boring very quickly. They have beautiful cards too, but very definitely not the only ones.

While I can understand why you would do this if you are in the business as a SU demo, as a customer I would never want to limit myself to only one company when there are so many awesome stamps on the market.

I am happy to see the SUO search option. I've used it, but continue to wonder if everyone using SUO actually designates it that way. If not, I'd be missing some . . . so I tend to do the daily additions which is way, way too many and takes seemingly forever, but I'm afraid not to so that I don't miss anything. If I knew everyone used the SUO designation, I would skip the daily additions altogether.

Are you supposed to put SUO only in your keywords?
I have never heard of this before reading this thread.
So, if you search for "SUO" in the gallery I thought it was searching for keywords that whoever uploaded a card put in. Is this how it works?
Thanks!

I can't do SUO unless I am demo-ing a workshop. There's too much other stuff out there to have fun with! I am mostly hobby, and send cards out to people to enjoy. I still meet my minimums with SU, so it's all good!

Yep, that's how it works. So if you have only used SU products in your card from start to finish, add SUO into your keywords.
I think I remember coming across another keyword for mostly SU - could it have been SUM? Sorry, just can't think now...

Definately not! I love my SU stamps but its nice to have a variety of styles ... if I didn't look at recent gallery uploads I'd never have found High Hopes Stamps which I just adore!!!! I don't have time to look at all the uploads but usually just the first couple of pages are enough to inspire me!

SUO might not give you all the ones that only use SU! products. Sometimes it's hard to decide on the best category for your card...
(I'm still new at putting stuff in my gallery, but this is how it seems to me.)
