I do......always at least two........one I send and one goes into a box I send to my best friend in Alabama. I sometimes make variations of a design with the same stamps so I keep a list in a spiral steno notebook of who got which card so I don't give them, for instance, sailboats two or three times running. The older I get the more I refer to the list too!!!!!

I've decided to do basically the same graduation card every year. That's the one kind of card that I really don't like coming up with something new all the time. And I don't have to worry about giving someone duplicates!

I think I'll do like the OP and do the same with wedding cards.

I don't have many graduation cards to make, and they seem to come in multiples when I do have some. Then I make similar designs and just change the colors to match the school.

I should start keeping a notebook too. One year, I made multiples of Thanksgiving cards and ended up sending the SAME card to my sister and her family two years in a row!! She put them both up next to each other on her sideboard and sent me the photo..so we both got a good laugh out of it.

It could be worse.........one year my brother-in-law gave his wife a very pretty necklace for Xmas..........and he gave her the same one the next year. She handled it with humor........just said it proved how much he liked it.......then exchanged it.

I enjoy making several of one design such as birthday cards. I send lots of card to senior citizens during the year so multiples work well for that. I make sure to do a different design each year.

Count me among the remakers! There are some cards that I just really enjoy making. So I make them in different colors or identical and find someone to give them to, to use.

I have the habit of making at least 6 cards of every design. Years ago I made different holiday themed cards and kept track of each family's card. then someone suggested making one theme card a year and I switched over - works so much better. I have a 'large index box' and list the stamp or die in alphabetical order, and list the people I send to. The box is almost too full now to flip through, so I have been looking around for a larger box, still using the large index cards. Works great. I have a large stash (over 300) cards, and can quickly check to see if the person ever received that design from me. Several people have said they keep all my cards in the 20+ years I have been card making, and have never had duplicates ! So apparently it works pretty good. Since retiring and making cards daily, my stash was just about out of control, but I now send cards to Soldiers Angels in Texas, and two local organizations in my area. I also have a card ministry for our church (sending to not only our congregation but I send 'requests' from them) for all birthdays, anniversaries, get well, praying for you, etc. I also try to send to any widow or widower for their first anniversary alone. But, I have no issues with making duplicate cards - although I do like to change colors on them. Makes it a little more interesting to create !

Interesting thread.

For me, mostly no repeats. I try, but then I think, "What if I changed ____, added ________, or did _____ differently?" And then I end up w/different cards.
I did make an exception with BD cards this year. Other than balloon placement, I made a bunch that looked very similar. I like them, and I thought that each recipient would only have one birthday, so they wouldn't see how lazy I was being.

I used to have that problem so now I put a sticky note on the backs of the remaining cards with the names of the people I sent the duplicates to.

There are a few cards I repeat after giving them a rest. I consign my cards in two stores so I have a need to make different cards for each theme. But I have vintage cupcake tins that look just like yours! Oldies but goodies!! I traded my mother in law for my new ones because she was jealous of my new shiny tins. I adore the vintage tins!!
