Do I want Something To Celebrate?
It's the only half-off set I don't have yet...
It's not one that would ever make my favorites list, but I am a demo, and I do lots of workshops that require me to come up with lots of different ideas...
So, should I just go ahead and get it since it's so cheap?
Or should I skip it b/c I just don't care for it all that much?

I have it coming for the same reasons. I didn't have it and it is to cheap to not get.

For $12.48 you can't go wrong....IMHO.
I have seen some cute cards made with it lately too.

Its the only set in the half off that I'm NOT getting.
IMO, I think that cake is not my style and I'm not overly happy with the other images in it either. It IS versatile, however.
I thought twice about it though... being that its half off, but decided I really didn't want it.

It's been on my list since the new catalog came out...and it just came Wednesday. I'm so excited about it that I can hardly contain myself.
I love that it's a "mature cutesy" design.
I love that you can use it for a baby shower, a bridal shower, a birthday card, or a birthday invitation. (Not to mention the scrapbook possibilities)
I love that you can color it in or stamp with a colored ink and leave it alone.
Most of all, I LOVE that it's 50% off!!!!!!

A customer pointed out to me that the presents could be used under a Christmas Tree . . . . thought that was a good idea, I don't know if that helps you make a decision. . . .

It's probably my least favorite of the sale stamp sets, but I did get it. It is very versatile and the "Happy Birthday" stamp is the *nicest* HB stamp I own, I think!! The line of gifts is really nice too!

I wasn't that excited about that one or Stipple Celebrations. But I bought both of them since I'm a demo, and they are 50% off.
I wanted to have samples of all the sets on sale. So I did the samples that are from the Inspiration Sheets for them. As it turns out, I really like them quite a bit and I'm glad I got them!
I also have several customers that really liked this set once they saw the samples.

This was the only of the sale sets that I wasn't really thrilled with. But the more that I looked at it in the catty and the more that I saw all of the neat cards being made here at SCS, I decided 'how can I NOT get this while it's on sale?!?!'
So, my set just arrived today. 2 of my customers also ordered it for the same reasons. I'm actually quite excited about trying it out.

Wow, different things appeal to different people I guess. I really like the set a lot and I got it in this week (hippeeee). I like cutsy things though so it is right up my alley. I was really hoping to demo it a lot so I hope others like it as much as I do. If you are not a demo and you don't LOVE it after seeing the samples than no, save your money for the great ribbon SU has or anything else in the great catty. It is to me what the Sears and Robuck used to be to people in the 19th century. I think I have all the pages memorized - wow that is pretty pathetic.

OK, I am going to be the voice of reason.
You do NOT need this set. You do NOT need this set.
That's what I keep telling myself about this one and Stipple Celebrations. 1/2 price seems hard to pass up but I would never pay full price for these sets so they aren't really a bargain for me.
It took awhile but I finally convinced myself that I don't need these sets. I probably would have bought them anyway so I am going to use the the money I would have spent and buy a Crafter's tool kit instead. (something else I don't really 'need')
Let us know what you decide.
D.

I got it...
I got it just for the HB and the row of presents... my thinking was that I could use the gifts for Christmas and I can always use a cute HB stamp. I like the baby carriage too though. But all in all, it is not one of my favs.

I wasn't really thrilled by this one when I first saw it in the catty, and wasn't going to get it this month, but the more I looked at it, and the more cards I saw using it...well, guess what I just ordered? I'll admit it really isn't my style, but it seems very versatile, so I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it making cards for friends and family.
One thing I've learned is that sometimes one has to go outside your usual "style" and try something new or that you wouldn't ordinarily do.

That is true about it not being your style. I got By Design last year when it was on sale and I haven't used it since, I know there are great things you can do with the set, but I never seem to pull it out when I am creating things.

not my style and I have Framed Greetings, so I am passing on that one. If I did not have so many similar in style I would absolutely get it

Wow I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I did the same thing and think I have used it once.
