Distress Oxide release dates
I think I remember hearing that Ranger was going to release two more sets/releases of Distress Oxide in 2018. With the year half over I keep thinking we will see a release soon. Does anyone know when the release dates are scheduled?

Tim Holtz hinted at a new release of “something” soon in his video on Facebook yesterday. He said he thought we probably could guess what it was. Simon Says Stamp repeated the hint today. I’m thinking next week or first of the month.

This is what I saw too. SSS email today did specifically say a new release in the Distress line, so maybe that is coming soon.

Yay, good news but my wallet is sad. I missed the “specifically” part. Gotta be it then.

I wonder about PIcket Fence, since the formulation isn’t the same as with other regular Distress inks, if I remember correctly. So for Oxides it would be different than other Oxides.

Yup, thread about it, can’t wait! Here you go:
alcohol ink yupo tim fans lift ink t624951.html
Nothing about new Oxide colors though yet. I love Oxides more than any other ink, but bought the first two complete sets and then only some of the third, and probably would only buy a few of the fourth.
Maybe because what’s out is so thrilling, all of my fave colors (hello Worn Lipstick). But I agree it would be neat if they could make Picket Fence work. I went searching and in regular Distress it’s a pigment ink, not dye, though the pigment isn’t the standard pigment forumula, so it works like the other Distress inks. So it’s a bit of an oddball.

Thanks for the info! I don't need to set my alarm, but it will be interesting to see what the new colors are and how soon they will be in stores. I have wondered, like others, if they will do white in Distress Oxide?!?
I made a wish list from the start and have only purchased from that list so far. I am sure once the full line is all released they will find a way to make the minis. I unfortunately purchased the regular Distress in the large pads before they introduced the minis. I am trying to avoid that mistake again!! Thanks again for the announcement.

I don't think I'd get a full release this time but I really hope Chipped Sapphire comes out this time...and I know there's another colour I'd love but I can't think which one just now.

12 new Oxides being released TODAY! A FB Live post at 9 AM Pacific time. Was looking for this post yesterday to put this on, and couldn't see it, lol. So I made a separate thread.

I'm at work and can't access Facebook (security on the computer here) - anyone have a link that's not a social website?

Well, Carla gets her tumbled glass. I don't get chipped sapphire but there's only one colour in that release that I don't use much, so I guess I'll be going for the whole lot and trying to make more space on my ledge. I've only got room for 3 more blues/greens and I think the new release will require another stack.

People clamoring for names of new Oxides in non-virtual life too at an art journal class today at my LSS, where we used Distress Oxides to cover a page for a background. The owner knew the colors so read them to us - would have put on the FB show for us on her iPad. Tumbled Glass is the one I care about. And Spun Sugar maybe. Mowed lawn possibly? So love these inks!

The last set of 12 will be released in October, so not that long for all you Chipped Sapphire fans! (And one of those days I’ll stop saying Glass Slipper instead of Tumbled Glass.)

I was like Tim said; I don't care which colors they're releasing - I'm gonna get them all!
