Default The difference between email and PM? - Newbie - help!

Hi - I'm new to Splitcoast. I've tried to post a question in the FSOT forum and I must be doing it wrong. When do you post a PM (I'm assuming this is private message) and where does it go? And when do you use a member's email - or do you use both? I'm soooo confused!

Hi Lori,

I've sent an email and a PM to you, to help you see the difference. Some members at SCS do not have their email listed through the site, so PMs are a quick way to communicate with them. PMs will come to you whether you are on the site or not, since you will receive an email announcing your receipt of a PM. It's just really your preference!

Smiles to you!
