Default Dance\Ballet stamps

Just wondering if anyone has seen dance or ballet theme stamps lately? Classic style, not cutesy or little kid. I'm primarily a SU stamper so not familiar with online companies.

Visible Image has a set with a slightly artsy look as her skirt sort of trails ink splatters - easier to look than for me to describe! Ballerina Stamp - Ballet Stamps - Dance - Born To Perform I’ve recently talked myself out of it but I may well talk myself back in again! I have other Visible Image stamps and they’re good quality photopolymer that give good stamped impressions.

They’re a UK company but there may well be stockists over the Pond, perhaps somebody will know who if you like the look of the set.

If you're okay with digital stamps, A Day for Daisies has gorgeous ballerinas (and great images in general - I have lots!).

Stampin' Up actually has a very nice ballet set in the new upcoming catalog. I'm not a dancer and I don't know any dancers but it's so nice that I'm thinking of ordering it when it's available. If I recall correctly, it has two dancer images and a nice selection of sentiments.

You could look in the gallery (search term ballerina; If You use ballet you'll get lots of results using a retired Stampin'Up! color).

I found one image that way (forgot to save link to CARD but I did a web search of the name of the stamp that was included in the details). Here's a link to a company that sells it (I first heard of the selling company when I visited their booth at a show earlier this year. They had a nice selection and we're fun to chat with).

Here's the link:

I just noticed Visible Image do international shipping for £3 (that’s just under $4 at current exchange rates) so if any of their stamps take your fancy ordering direct might be an option (and they have 25% off a bunch of stamps over the Easter weekend!). Not affiliated with them at all, just happy with what I’ve bought from them.

Thanks Shaz, I knew someone would know! Ironically enough, the ballet one is not there at the moment but it looks like they have a good variety.

I may have distracted myself into placing an order this morning

Serendipity stamps was the answer I got when I asked this question and they have a few dance sentiments too.

there is a nice outline one and a couple-which we dont see a lot over at 123 stitch

Crafts from 123Stitch.com

a highly detailed real one over at frantic-do a bg and this and you could be done

Inkadinkado Wood Mounted Rubber Stamp - Ballerina

and a silhouette
Leane Creatif - Lea'bilities Clear Stamp - Ballet

I have a just rite set I think is called the Rehearsal but I cant find it for you. might be discontinued

both ebay and etsy have them...pinkflamingo on etsy is interesting bc they have men. I would suggest asking for both ballet and ballerinas. Both can be very specific.

This is the Visible Image one, at SSS.

I've seen this one done using a Puffy Embossing Powder for the skirt, or with Chunky EP, it looks stunning.

I happened to stumble on this one from Spellbinders yesterday and today I see this thread!:

I don't need it but I really like it and might talk myself into it.

Thanks for asking about ballet stamps!!! I've been trying to find some since my granddaughter is heading that way as a profession. These are really neat. I REALLY like the A Day for Daisies ones...Thanks, Sue!

I was also going to mention the set by Visible Image. I have it and love it. Got mine at Scrapbook.com. It looks like it's currently on sale there for 13.29 but only 2 in stock.

Loving the other suggestions as well ... been a dance (ballet) mom for almost 9 years now, and looking forward to seeing what the new Stampin Up one looks like.

I just wanted to comment I've ordered from Visible Image directly a number of times. They have great, fast service.

Default Born to Perform

I used the Born to Perform set to make a card for my granddaughter. I embossed the skirt with antique embossing powder. She loved the card. The set is very nice. The ballerina stamp set in the new Stampin Up catalogue is nice too. It will be available the beginning of June.

That's wonderful! Mine is doing ballet (now pointe) and Jazz/Lyrical combination. She used to do tap as well for a few years but it wasn't her thing. It's definitely an expensive after school activity so I have a low stamping budget
