Argh! This four hour difference in time zones is really bugging me when it comes to the daily challenge! It is 8:30 here in Alaska, which makes it 12:30 on the east coast. So, by the time I get on the computer to see what the daily challenge is, I have a hard time even finding it! Any suggestions? I don't like using the search because I always get a huge list of results that includes topics that have nothing to do with the challenge. Maybe we could create a list of members who want to participate and have the challenge emailed?
who is the one who decides the daily challenge anyway? maybe since you're up first you could post one, maybe i am wrong, but it seems to me that whoever feels like it or whoever gets to it first posts it.(but i could be totally wrong, i am kinda new here :? ) if i am wrong, then totally disregard this and have a great day

I don't think one was posted today, Kymbers posted Friday's because the Challenge Gals were both sick. If you search daily challenge and look it up under search all terms, that days daily challenge should pop up on the top since it would be the most recent posting. I have the day off so I was hoping there was one! I am doing my own challenge...make a magic card!!!!!
I think Kimberly (mamakimberly) and Emily (emilymomto3boys), who are the hosts of the challenges might still be dealing with sicknesses cause I too have not heard or seen any challenges lately.
I tried to post one for Saturday...but it didn't really fly, so I would love to hear some new ideas for challenges!
Truthfully, anyone can post a challenge. I've done it and Jenn and I have done it both because Emily and Kimberly were sick. I haven't seen either of them today so I'll challenge everyone here ~
Today's challenge will be use eyelets. You can use them on anything, just use them. I suggest this because I've noticed a question or two about setters and punches today. Should tie right in.
I really appreciate the daily challenges! They make me think more on my own rather than CASEing/changing.
Maybe they could be posted the night before (at a decent hour. for those in a different time zone), but cannot not start posting examples until morning.
Just a thought. I sure hope they are feeling better soon. I know how much I hate being sick.

Sonya since your off from school, you should have came over to stamp today
Well, that would have meant that I would have to change out of my pajamas!!!! J/K. I have another paper to write actually :shock: but I still found time to stamp! I'll be there Sat!!!
My real challenge was to finish the laundry today, but I may have to sneak back in the kitchen and stamp a little more!
Eyelets! That's a great one! Honestly I forgot it was my day...or is it? Anyway, I'll be on the ball tomorrow and get one up. MWF are busy mornings with preschool....
I haven't started doing the challenges yet mainly because I am at work when I read them then sort of forget about them when I get home. I don't get on the computer much when I'm at home. Anyway, I think it does help to get motivated.
Maybe we can take a vote and have a seperate topic area and or gallery just for challenges?
ANYONE can and SHOULD post the challenge! Just make sure the day and challenge are in the title so they're easy to find, like "TUESDAY CHALLENGE: whatever"
Ugh, I'm a bit overwhelmed with the kidlets right now. Nothing special, just life ;) I am finally NOT sick anymore though!!
Maybe someone should post list of the challenge of the day on Sunday night...................it would have the challanges for each day of the week. We could renew it on each sunday. that way, you can find it sunday, print it off and have it the whole week.
Tonight I was slow and only made 2 cards, but the up side is I am almost done a set sampler for a set I had but had not even cut yet-Framed Greetings. Saw a challenge the other day to use a "Why did I buy this?" set and got started, now I really like how easy it is for newbies, plus it has so many sayings-this set may be my new push for all occasion sets!!
For today's challenge (eyelets) I did 1 with washers behind the eyelets, and then a cute purse card with double eyelets (1 inside the other) to match the paper. Yeah!! Thanks for the push. I don't really care when the challenges are posted-I just like seeing the ideas and figure I'll get to it when I can (even if it takes me a few days!!)
I think that if you are up and awake and want to post a challenge-feel free! And I also think it is okay to piggyback off of a challenge-like if someone posts a color challenge, like Soft Subtles for Holiday Cards, another person might "up the ante" (LOL) and say try to include wire with the cards, KWIM?
I want to thank everyone who has posted challenge-I know it has sometimes been what I needed to try something new (although I for one left that Mont Melody challenge alone!LOL)
