I had been eyeing them up too. I'd be interested in seeing what everyone's thoughts are on it. I would love to hang something like this in my foyer for Christmas.....

They are cute - I had to pull out the catty to see what you were referring to. Hope someone knows how to make them as they'd be awesome decor.

I was checking those out too and I checked the "recipes" in the back and all it said on 49c was "craft boxes" which really doesn't help. I didn't see a template anywhere either...

OK....here's what hubby did.....took a piece of cardstock....and made 2 inch grids.....and then just darken the cut lines for me.....I didn't want to cut it out yet cause I wasn't sure HOW to get a pix of it.
So....here's the pix.....now, I'll go cut his pattern and actually see if it works....it looks like it would and he's convinced it will......

I actually put them on the flaps....the first flap is easy cause the other end is open....on the second flap, I actually put it between the two pieces of cardstock ((does that make sense?)) and pinched it a bit.....I used double sided tape. I might try some glue?? We'll see.
I just used a cheap cardstock to try, I think using PT or SU cardstock which is more heavier will help keep it together more especially if you start adding embellishments.

Sorry, I tried to take a picture of it, but between the glossy paper and the flash, it didn't work. Maybe in the morning???

Well, I have 8 cubes done so far.....2 each of black, orange, green and purple for Halloween. The heavier cardstock works *much* better then the cheap white cardstock that I used last night..... I know I have more cubes / boxes to make, but I think I will attach them together with hemp and put knots between the cubes. This way I can attach the webbing on the hemp vs attaching it to one of the cubes. Now, IF I could only find those glow-in-the-dark little skeletons I bought last fall.....ugh.
Hubby said he was very happy to accommodate the cause. Have fun everyone!!

In another thread, Steph315 posted this link to a site with a catalog that can be browsed online without downloading it:
http://www.debbisdesign.com/
The boxes we're talking about in this thread are actually shown on pages 50-51 of the PDF file.

Thanks so much for this quick and easy template. It sure would do the trick for making DECOR type boxes but the sides are not sealed so would they work for holding stuff in them?
CynCyn posted on another thread that the Fairyland #38 box template on the SU! might work to make actual boxes. I printed it off and it's a 2 inch square BOX with more flaps for adhering glue too and sealing the box closed. Here's the link: http://www.stampinup.com/ca/documents/Fairyland.pdf

I took Audrey's hubby's plan and made it into a PDF. If you can, choose borderless printing on your computer.
I love the other little "fairyland" box too! Great for small gifts.
