Great for her, too! Now when a demo needs to take some time away from her business for personal reasons (baby, long-term illness, etc) her customers can still purchase from her and keep her active!

Do the demos have to pay to have their website?

Default Good Idea

I may do some online ordering because my demo is about 45 minutes away. But I love her!! It would help a little with the whole money thing. No phone tag or remembering to mail a check.

Online? Only if you have the Paypal debit card, which can be used online like a credit/check card because of the MasterCard logo.

I do like that I can make up a shopping bag and see what my total is etc...even if I don't actually place the order online.

No, there is no way for a demo to offer a discount through online ordering. You would have to order through your traditional method. But SU is offering more specials themselves than ever before.

Timing is perfect for me -- my other demo deactivated a few months ago and I am thrilled that I can order online from another SU demo in the area -- as close as she is a town away it will be nice to be able to just order online instead of emailing and/or mailing a check, calling with credit card #, etc. Those 2 am shopping frenzies and not having to worry that someone is going to call back to verify something when DH is home, LOL!!

I don't know if someone already addressed this later in this thread, but the only thing is you will run into the minimum shipping charge online; whereas through a demo different orders can be combined so you will all usually only pay the 10% or whatever it is. If your order is large enough that won't matter but a smaller order will cost you more in shipping.
I have a similar business and the same thing applies, that's how I understand the wording in the FAQs.
Also, you're getting different benefits. They may be better, but they aren't the same as if you are a hostess. I do like the flexibility of having a demo in that sense...for example mine gave me a hostess level 2 gift because she added some other orders to mine and it bumped up to the next level. She didn't have to do this, and I wouldn't have gotten that if I had ordered online.
But I certainly don't think it's a bad thing to be able to order online!

Probably not, I have such a great Demo, I much prefer dealing on a personal bases.
