Default Curvy Keepsake Box gift ideas please

Hi all. I am thinking about making up Xmas looking Curvy Keepsake Boxes but have no idea what to put in them. I would love some ideas that you have all used. I am trying to avoided it being food if I can. So please share what sort of items you have managed to find that fit inside. Thanks heaps Kim

I had to google curvy keepsake boxes just to see what they were! Cute! Hm...I guess if I got one, I'd like stuff like clips (the kind that keep bags of chips closed), or little hair bands, chapstick tubes, little lotion bottles (or bottles of hand cleaner - not sure if those will fit), or those cute tiny decorative soaps, or post-it notes, or batteries... I guess I would just stroll through the non-food sections of the grocery store and see what else I didn't think of that's available that might fit. Or the souvenir section of a gift shop... keychains, small refrigerator magnets...

You can also google "tiny gifts", but that might be getting into items that are more expensive, like pendants, earrings, etc.

Or they can be more tailored... for someone with glasses, maybe a little cloth that is specifically used to clean the lens, or maybe a little shot glass (maybe this is too big?) for someone who enjoys alcohol...

I have seen some with nail polish (tiny sample bottles) but mostly chocolates or hard candies and cash. Tea lights are fun, especially if you punch out a window and cover it with acrylic. Anything heavy has to be considered as testing the taping of the bottom of the boxes. Perhaps placing your finished items in a glassine/clear bag and tied shut will help that issue. A friend of mine makes the scrubbies from net, and she squashes one of those in the boxes I make for her - a very tight fit! A Christmas pin or set of glass magnets? Diane

The dollar tree is full of small items that would fit! Little nail files, towels that expand when placed in water (for kids), hand creams, ChapStick's, etc. I don't think weight will be an issue as long as you don't pick it up by the handle. I'd like to get that die but there is way too much stuff ahead of it on my list!

Chapstick will not fit inside the Curvy Keepsake, but I do believe an Eos will.

These little boxes are the perfect size for small things like a fashion jewelry, key rings, pins, magnets etc. Muscrat has the right idea suggesting a dollar store. I would also check the office supply isle, little packs of fancy pushpins, paper clips etc should work.

I also play with the Curvy keepsake and use only 2 sides to make a taller "wrapper style" gift box. This way it can fit a gift card tucked between a sweet treat (my favourite way is between two York peppermint patties as that seems to hold well.

Wanted to make sure you saw today's tutorial by Alex - super cute and gives you way more room for a treat. I just did these for the goodie bags at my OnStage retreat and I could fit two mini Twix in them. A small hand sanitizer or a chapstick or TicTacs would fit easily in these

Lydia - thanks for the link to the tutorial! I now have another project to try! I want to have a thank you ready for the medical staff who has helped me in the cataract surgery process, and these would be ideal with a mini hand sanitizer. I also have the mini coffee cups ready with chocolates...hmmm... decisions, decisions...Diane
