Are we about done with this "hot" item? I'm not a favorite of the cupcake stamps so perhaps there's something else out there that will come on strong. Any ideas?
maybe will cupcake change to muffin...?
I remember when muffins became normal everywhere....
then it was everything on a bagel
then it was everything in a wrap...
maybe it will be meals in a cup like in Pixar's Wall-E movie...
milkshakes and smoothies and blenders maybe?

I'm with you. Enough with the cupcakes!! And I'm sorry, but I find the cupcakes with faces and, yuck, tongues just creepy!
I'm not really into the cupcake stamps either! The only cupcakes I have are in the kitchen right now..... & I'm pretty sure they will be gone soon!!!! yum!
I love cupcakes and ice cream cones, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. I hope they're around for a long time. Now the birds and owls I never got into. Just not my thing. That's what I love about stamping. There's something for everyone.
I am not a cupcake fan...in fact I have NOTHING cupcake themed at all in my whole stash.
Now the Owls and Trees are ALL ME! LOL I don't care if they do go *out of style* I am going to be doing the eclectic woodsy theme forever.
You and me both!! I never got into the cupcake thing per se.... but baked goods to go with coffee/tea images will always be fine. Hmm..that sounds yummy!
Love trees and birds.... they will never go out of style. Just like flowers, I never get tired of them.
It will be interesting to see what the next "trendy" item will be though. I'm guessing something earthy which will be fine by me!!
I like having cupcake stamps in my stash great for so many occasions however, I agree that it has been done to death.
I'm not into peacocks at all and then some people think they are unlucky so I would be afraid to send one to someone as an image to find out latter they are one of the ones that thinks they are unlucky if you get my thinking.
Now hot air balloons... hmmm.... I think I will have to see...

I agree with ya...I am loving any cupcake, birthday cake, or ice cream..They are fun to color, and pretty versatile, like a balloon...
Still no cupcake images in my collection. Peacocks, yes, owls, yes - and I wouldn't say no to a hot air balloon too, there are some gorgeous ones out there.
I love the hot air balloons -- just bought Gina K's. I have a cute set I bought a couple of years ago that is an Easter set -- Easter bunnies in the basket of a hot air balloon.
I like cupcakes.....a lot. But I am also way done with them. I have plenty of cupcake stamps, thank you very much. I even happily skipped the new PTI cupcake set.
I don't care for owls either. Kinda creepy birds, if you ask me. But I do like trees of all shapes and sizes.
Peacocks, meh. Don't care one way or the other. And no need for any octopus stamps in my room either.
Now coffee and tea themed stamps.....those I just can't get enough of. LOL~
I have a feeling cupcakes are going to be around for a while. Papertrey just released a new set...I'm still seeing them everywhere. They're good for birthday cards (something I make a lot of).
I love cupcakes AND birds/owls, so I guess I'm in the minority. ;)
haven't seen any hot air balloons yet. Do you have any links Gina, or perhaps are you selling some on your site???
We have one in our new StampTV kit. I had NO idea hot air balloons would be so hot this summer, I just wanted to make one because I had some cute greeting ideas-
You raise me up
You're love keeps lifting me
Here's the balloon:

Gina - I hope this hasn't been put in "stone" yet -- it should be YOUR ;>)

Didn't I see somewhere that SU has one/some in their new catty?
Don't even get me started on the cannibal cupcakes consuming cake! I do enjoy a nice non-facial-featured cupcake, although I have my own personal party hat trend going on right now.
I'm with Deb; owls are a little creepy. I only used my owl stamp for a "Save the Hooters" card for my sister.
I've seen a lot of turtles doing activities recently. It creeps me out when they are standing up on two feet so you can't see the shell too easily-it's like the turtle is flashing me.
As for random household object (e.g. chandeliers), it seems that there was a small chair trend going on for a bit that seems to have died down. Maybe beds will be next? Or coffeetables?

Wood floors? I know someone was looking for a wood floor stamp the other day. ;)
