Crystal Effects/Real Red Ink

Why does Crystal effects turn real red ink into a weird color? Is there any way to "pre-treat" the stamped image so that it doesn't do this when I use CE on RR?

I'd be interested to know this answer too. I notice CE turns some of the metallic pencils colors strange too. It turned the purple pencil's color into a reddish!

Try spraying with Krylon sealer (like with chalks) before adding CE. Works for me.

I used to find the same thing (Real Red/CE) happened to me. So I bought these little 1" round stack-n-seal containers at Michaels in the jewelry/beads section. I now tint my CE w/reinkers and the apply it to the CS with a toothpick. Then I just recap and store until next time. Hope this makes sense & helps. ~ Kaylyn
