Default Cropping bag/totes What do you recomend?

I'm looking to get a new bag or tote to "haul" my scrapbooking and stamping stuff in. I have the big crop in style "tote" on wheels and I do like it as it has lots of little pockets for punches, place for scissors and lots of little extra type things that I like to take. However I got a new car and now this bag will not fit in my trunk! So what I'm wanting to know is what do you have? What do you like about it? Where can I get it? Any help would be greatly appriciated! Thanks!

A friend of mine bought me a collapsable bin with a telescoping handle on it. It's great for storing, too... because you can collapse the handle and the bin and, when collapsed, it only takes up about three inches deep and 13 inches wide and high. Now, for my workshops, I just take my cropper and this collapsable bin! All my make-and-take, caddys, etc., fit. One of my downlines has two of these, and takes these to her workshops. It would certainly fit better in your trunk, too.

I believe she bought her at Target and Big Lots. They're inexpensive, are compact, and take up a very small space when open and stored.

Would you be interested in selling your tote if you find a better solution for your needs?

I dont know what to suggest other than make sure you get one that has wheels - I have the crop in style tote on wheels and the crop in style JR shoulder tote. While I love and use both, I prefer to use the tote on wheels because by the time I load the shoulder tote up with stamps and paper, it can get quite heavy! So, I pretty much always use the one on wheels if I only need to bring one tote.

Also, crop in style does make a smaller tote on wheels. It is about the same size as the small luggage suitcases that you can take as carryon for airplanes - I actually use my crop in style tote on wheels as my carryon!

The size of my trunk is the problem I had. Now I'm wishing I still had my mini van - take the seats out and imagine all that room!

I recently got the Crop In Style P3 which is designed for paper. I found that you can put lots of things on the shelves too. I also got the wheeled tote from Joann's. It's not as big as I'd like but the price was right when it was on sale for half price.

The P3 fits on the front passenger seat and the Joann's tote goes in the back seat. Then I have a tool box that I can bungee on top of one of those and everything is on wheels.

I have the Crop in Style XXL. It holes a TON of stuff!! And it can stand a lot of weight from stamp sets!! HTH! I also use their brand of paper taker bags and sticker binders (I have my SS kits in there!). I stack those on tip, tip her back and off I go!

I have all the Creative Memories totes. I LOVE them all. The largest one with wheels holds all my cropping tools, cutting system, trimmers, pens, etc etc etc then I have the one without wheels (forget the names of these) and I put all my paper in it. It sits on top of the wheeled one for transport to and from the car the I use the album tote to carry my album, power layout box and refills in!

I love them all but they are bulky - you must have gone to a smaller car - how about the front seat!! If all the "totes" are too large to fit how about canvas bags?? Your things would not be as well protected but you can still fit quite a bit in them and they should fit in a trunk!

I just love LOVE love my all terrain backpack from Cropper Hopper. It has tons of pockets, pull out parts, a zip off purse/12x12 bag on the front and most important for me, the handle is tall. I am 6'2" and hate dragging a bag that is too short. I have had the NaAvigator but it didn't hold as much as this does. I just can't say enough about it.

I have the CIS Navigator and the CIS Stamp Store. I'm not sure they sell the Stamp Store anymore. But, I take both of them whenever I go to a crop. In the navigator I put all of my stamp sets that I want to take. It holds about 45-50 of them, I think, because I have 65-70 sets and I can take almost all of them.
The Stamp Store opens from the top, too, but has a flap in the front where there are drawers to hold individual items. I also put my smallest stamp sets in there. When you open it from the top there is a shelf that sits on top of the drawers, and then a slot to the side that goes all the way down to the bottom. I LOVE the top shelf, because I just leave the flap open while I'm cropping, and I can reach in there and get things like my cardstock ring, my punches, or my eyelets. If they don't sell it anymore, I hope they made a replacement for it, because I really love it.
HTH!!

I love the stamp store too. I picked one up at Tuesday mornings for $31 last month! What a bargain! I hope they don't get rid of it - but you can usually find one on ebay once in a while.

I'm not a demo, however, I have an XXL from JoAnn's. I got it for $64.99 (1/2 price from $129.99). It's big and holds a lot, almost too much. The only problem with it is that I put so much stuff in it and then it's super heavy to lift up to my vehicle. I also have a smaller one, a JoAnn's Essentials bag, that I bought for $29.99 (1/2 price from $59.99). That has more pockets, not as big, the lid has a handle (not something I like, because the lid doesn't stay open), but it's still nice to have one a little smaller. I want to buy the XXL cover, just haven't done it yet. I think I should get a commission on these bags. 8 of my friends have purchased them because they liked mine. 2 more want them!!! Oh by the way...the XXL is by Navigator. It's just the big square one.

Fiskar's sells a crate-like thing on wheels, telescoping handle, with a skirt on it so you can take advantage of the outside as well. They are at JoAnn's and if they aren't on sale, you can use a coupon with it. I think they are normally $59.99.

I love all of the CM organizers and tools! I believe their website gives dimensions for the various organizers that they offer, so you could first see if the dimensions would even work in your car. I have their rolling bag and the smaller tote (can't remember the names!) as well as their album tote. They make good stuff!
