Exclamation Crop In Style - Store In Style

Has anyone seen this?!?! I saw it at Recollections Friday night and I totally want it for my stamp room! I just wondered if anyone else had them and had any comments. Also if anyone knows of a place to get them cheaper, please share!

Here's the website:

I have not seen that one either but it does look worth having! I would be interested in the prices too?!
Altho I am not sure how deep the workspace is...I like to have a couple feet deep to work with!

This link has prices. I just want to do the cubes, not the workspace part. You can mix and match any way you want. I would like two cubes next to each other, 3 cubes high to start with. To do this the way I want (with the doors and shelves that I want) it is over $300. Crazy, I know, but it is perfect for the stamps I want to put in there and the paper and magazine storage it provides. All the pieces are sold seperately.

Default I saw it too.

Emily, I saw these too!

I am curious, & have not had a chance to check their board (memories.com that is) but can I put two high, then a desk section, then three high? Curious to know if anyone out there knows the max. # stacking scenarios, as this will determine if I purchase these in the not so distant future. If I can only stack three high I can't do it. I need five high each.

I think you could do 5 high. They look very stable, and would only end up being about 5.5ft high in total, so reaching the top shelves should not be a problem.

Oh yeah, you can go as high as you want. 3 high was just what I needed at the moment. It gives me 6 cubes to work with. I would like 8 eventually, but 6 is the bare minimum for me right now.

I know! That is what I loved too! I was thinking 4 cubes with a door and a shelf inside for stamps. ( I love the little thingie that you can put a piece of paper in and label what is inside that cube!) And then two cubes with multiple shelves...one horizontal for extra cs and one verticle for magazines. I am so so excited because I get to buy them this week!!

I bought my first piece a month ago. I love it. They are very well made. I like that you can by a piece at a time. I bought the 12x12 file drawer. I'd like to have about 3 of those. I like the little drawers too! At my lsbs each piece is around 60 - 75 dollars. Depends on the configuration. There is also a hutch you can get for the top of the worktop. I have a countertop, so i don't need that, but it sure was pretty!

I saw these when I was trying to come up with a new way of orginizing my stuff, unfortunately for me they were too pricey for as much as I needed. I found some cubes at Target called Q-bits that were a lot cheaper. They are made by Sauder and come in several different configurations. They are not quite as big though. I think the outside measurements are 14" X 14" and the inside measurements are 13" x 13". The 12X12 flat stacking paper trays will fit inside of them. I will try to get a photo posted in the near future.

Default 40% off

Joann is carrying the line now. It would take awhile, but you could use 40% off coupons to help offload the high price.

Collect Joann coupons from your friends and neighbors.... and they accept competitors coupons....!!!!! make multiple trips in the store...you can concievably get all of them in a day....Even if you had to buy multiple Sunday papers, you'd save more than the $1.50 - $2 the paper costs.... I keep looking at these and so far I have been able to steer away from them but who knows how long my resolve will last

Emily, We could go together and get one each and then send Matthew and Keith to get one each and then we'd have 4! Do that 2 weeks in a row and we'd have 8

I actually bought 4 of these pieces at a Joann's Superstore...with my 50% off coupon! They are absolutely FABULOUS. The 2 drawer unit is a great piece because the drawers are actually deep enough to store my bg stamps vertically! I'll try to attach a picture.

They are spendy$$$, I'm so glad I was able to get them @ 50% off. They give you the hardware to stablize them for stacking...eventually that is what I plan to do but for now they are under my work tables.

hmm....my jpg file is too big...I'll try to post it in the gallery....

**I've posted pictures of my 2 drawer and 3 drawer in the gallery**
I can't remember if someone posted pricing but here is J's regular price on these things:

Organizer cube $29.99
Cube door $13.99
2 drawer $59.99
3 drawer $69.99 (ouch)

well, they take a while to put together anyway, so by the time you got one put together and actually felt like putting together another one you'd have another coupon! lol

I have the 12x12 file drawers for my CS and paper, and I LOVE them, I think I need another one, but don't tell DH. after the drawers, and folders to go in them it ended up costing over $100, and that was getting one drawer 40% off, one at 50% off, and all the folders for 30% off. so I think I'll have to wait to get another one, but they'll last the rest of my life. they're very sturdy!

can't wait to finish my new room so I can post pics of these to share

I just bought my first cube yesterday at the LSS! It would be so easy to spend a ton of money on them. The next one I want is the 4-drawer.

I'll be going to Joann's ASAP to see if my store carries them!
I did fill up my loyalty card at the LSS, so my plan (before hearing about Joann's) was to load up with my next purchase at 20% off.

I'd love to see pics of how everyone is stacking them!

Default modular units

Cropper Hopper also has come out with a similar line, and I think similar prices. They were featured in a recent issue of CK magazine where someone's room was remodelled by Cropper Hopper. It looked pretty neat. Wish I had space and money for them. Well, someday I will after residency. At least I am getting lots of great ideas from this website so when I go to build my stamping studio, I will know exactly what I want.

Ok, here is the info I found on cropper hopper's stuff. Not as many options in set up...and way more expensive! The other basic cube runs 29.95. Cropper Hopper's basic cube runs 49.99.
