You can apply Heat Transfer foil onto DST, it works fine. Actually did it myself yesterday to try out. There's also a Gina K Designs Stamp TV video on You Tube, which was where I first saw it. It will also stick to Sticky Stuff Embossing Powder, and the glues that are meant for Gilding Flakes. So you can use that for heat and non heat techniques.

Not sure what you mean by how closely? I'm not sure if it can be seen well - just shallowly cut light gray rubber - you can see it at an angle in one of the photos on the website. But I can try later.

In the third (?) paragraph on her blog/video about no-heat methods, she provides a link to the videos using heat. They may be useful for you.

I recently pulled out an old lettering set. I think itís Anna Griffin. Itís a beautiful font. But, the letters are on a sqare of red rubber, and almost every letter I stamp picks up an edge, so the set is in my ďget rid ofĒ pile.

Do you have a stamp platform? They seem to almost totally eliminate those ghost edges with most stamps.

I get it. This set is cut shallowly, but I'll try it with and without a stamp positioner (good point Cook22) and report back. And will try to get a photo but I think the one on the website that shows it tilted will be better than mine.

{singing} If I only had a brain... of course these stamps can't go in a stamping platform - they're like peg stamps that attach to each other.

Lynne, I stamped a word using Versafine and Versafine Clair multiple times. The first six times, no ghosting. However, if I tilted the stamp, sure, it would make a line, or if I pushed really really hard, it would stamp a few dots. Actually, I was surprised at how well it did since it is shallowly cut. I sloppily inked the stamps on purpose for the test in the photo - you can see the green over the word? But it was fine. YMMV. : )

Thank you so much, Beth. It is really cool how they click together! I very much appreciate you trying it out and taking pictures. Please remind me what YMMV is. All I can think is Your ———-May Vary

Oohh. I do have a platform. I hadnít thought of that. Thank you. Out of the get rid of pile. And into the unmounting pile (at least to test a few out).

definitely agree with this. Getting a line from an edge on a stamp was a constant bugbear. Along with getting an ink smudge from where I'd caught my finger on the inkpad! Both problems eliminated thanks to the Stamping Platform!

This was done using Heat transfer foil, but just burnished well onto strips of double sided tape, so it works fine either way. For the die cut sentiment, I'd added some foil to a scrap piece of cardstock. You could do this with glue, DST, or as I had, with Stencil paste and then run through the laminator. I made up a few sheets, using offcuts of different foils, to give me a range to die cut from. Hth.

From what I've seen, these stamps are pretty amazing. I'm anxiously waiting to get my hands on some of them.

Where can I find information on the SU stamparatus? Can't find it in any of the catalogs, or on the site. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

Thanks for the video. I only use wood mounted stamps, so that won't help me.

Default Concord and 9th

Did anyone else think the new concord and 9th stamp looked like space when the Millennium Falcom jumps to light speed? If I had a Millennium Falcon stamp I would make that my Christmas card.

(Ex: Ken's Kreations did a video of Brutus Monroes' booth, which enabled me to visit the Brutus Monroe site and buy a locking alpha stamp.)

Stamp companies like Lawn Fawn manufacture stamps so some have booths. SSS manufactures a line of stamps/dies/inks and doesn't just sell other brands so in theory they could have a booth for their branded items but I don't think they do?

It's for whoever wants to beautifully market and advertise their products and hope some will be one of the next "it" items. Like Tim's glass mat may be one. And to get more exposure, like Visible Image stamp company from the UK attended for the first time, as did Catherine Pooler with her newish inks.

And the attendees that visit the booths can be on-line companies that carry products, LSS owners and staff, bloggers, etc.
Hi.....thanks for the explanation. I've never been quite sure either, how it works. So, if you're an end user you may or may not be able to buy what you see? It's really just a show and tell?
