Default Craft Pads and Watercoloring

I have a customer who wants craft ink for scrapbooking, but also wants to watercolor. Does that work well? I have done a search on the topic and didn't see but one person who said that she used craft ink for watercoloring. I'm a Classic Ink person, so I can't really answer her question for her. In the Stampin Techniques booklets it specifies Classic Ink for watercoloring.

TIA,
Jennifer

Default craft ink and watercoloring

I've used the craft inks for watercoloring on tumbled marble tiles that I've given as gifts. It worked very well, so I'd think it's fine. Craft ink does take longer to dry, but is permanent when heat set. Also used on sweatshirts - lovin the craft ink! HTH!
