Columbus, Ohio, Memories Scrapbooking Expo, March 26-27, 2010
...has anyone ever attended this...and if you are from columbus, are there hotels within walking distance of the expo center ???...i will most likely be flying in and don't want to rent a car...the partner hotels don't offer shuttle service to the event...TIA...
I've been several years and it is nice alot of new products but be ready for long lines. I make sure to bring cash so I don't have to wait so long. check the website and it shows all the vendors that will be attending. I normally check out their sites so I can plan what I'm looking for.
It's a nice day to spend - there are a lot of 'page kit' vendors, but there were a few stamp companies that I really loved! One was 'Sparklensprinkle' from Florida. They have great products, did lots of 'showing how to do it' - everyone was very personable! They have LOADS of glitter and embossing powders - almost any color you can imagine. That made the day for me!
I went to this the last couple of years, wont be going this year. Didnt really feel like there was that much to offer. A couple years ago Sizzix was there along with a couple of large companies. But not many came back last year. Very disappointed in the number of vendors at the place. I think we had visited all the vendors in about 2 hours or maybe a little bit more. I have done a couple of the classes they have to offer, some were really nice others, well.....
I would really look at who is going to be there (vendors) and make sure there is something there you are really interested in.. JMHO!!
