Default The Coloriser-heat tool

Does anyone have this new gizmo? Its been in all the magazines and I purchased on from QVC and I have to say its not all its cracked up to be. My Stampin' Up! heat tool works better then this one. The Coloriser has 2 settings and even on the highest setting it didnt heat detail embossing powder as fast as the SU one did. Just wondering if maybe I have a defective tool or if I am right and its not all that? Please let me know what you think.

Default Color Riser

I have this tool & I personally like it. I know my SU Gun heats faster but the main point to this gun is that you can heat on surfaces that will normally burn or melt. This gun is indispensible for making stamped jewelry on foam core board, heating EP on dominos which with a normal gun if you don't work fast the clear EP will turn brown, low heat is the trick here.
Also it is almost impossible to over heat your EP on your cards & scrapbook pages working on the low setting. The low setting is great for detail work on your projects also such as lettering.
I think you have to have a little patience with this gun as it operates a little differently than most. I love having the 2 settings.
When I don't feel like dragging my melting pot out the high setting is perfect for UTEE.
Hope this helps a bit
Regards
Barbara

Default the colorizer

Thanks Barbara...now I know a little more about the tool. I will have to be patient with it like you said and use it for the other things that you mentioned.
:-)
