I'm thinking about gettng a clip it system, but they are so expensive I thought I'd ask your opinions if you have them. I have another way to organize them, but I don't know which would be the better so I'm asking for help. Please do not email me reply as my computer is down. I can check here for answers, but can not access email. PM is you so desire. Thanks a lot for any help in advance.

Yes, yes, yes! I went back and forth on this because of the expense, but I bought one for my birthday in February (with the top) and I have never looked back. I use it for my clear stamps (the acetate sheet they're mounted on), rubons, stickers, envelope templates, you get the idea. I have two huge counters in my craft space so I have plenty of room. I also like the idea of having my products out in the open so that I can see them.
That being said, several creative and industrious ladies here have made their own. I don't remember who they were, but maybe one of them will respond and point you in the right direcction. Here's a homemade one that hangs. If you're limited on space, this would be perfect.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I love mine too. I received it for Christmas but hadn't asked for it and wasn't sure I wanted it. I took a Saturday in January to organize it and love it now. You do need a good sized space on a counter or table to sit it though.
Love, love, love mine. Just a twirl away is every embellie I need.

I love mine, too. It holds so much in such a small space. I like being able to see things. I used a 30% off coupon at Archivers on each piece (base and extender...bought in 2 different months) so it really made it more affordable.

I bought just a package of the clips at a craft show I went to. I have the wire type shelves in my stamp room, so I just hang things from the bottom of my shelves. So I can at least attest to the clips being great!
I truly enjoy mine. It allows one to have many assorted items ready and handy at your stampin' table, without using so many steps back & forth for commonly used embellishments, etc.
i think it's a truly great idea, but i can't spend the money on it. i'd rather buy stamps! since my stamp space is in a closet, i did buy some curtain rod rings & clips [like these] from home depot and walmart (WM was HALF the price of HD-just $5 for seven) and hang stuff from the curtain rod now. same concept as the clip it up.
I love, love, love mine. You do need a bit of space to set it up, but it is nice to have embellishments etc. at you fingertips. I use the top portion to store my Bella stamps (and other small stamps) and flowers (put them in small zipper bags by color). The possibilities are endless.
A Rock 'n Roll YES YES YES from me! I adore mine. It was an investment, no doubt, but well spent as I have cases and boxes full of embellies & the ones I'm using currently or most frequently are right there, a twirl away. Imagine you are at a market and twirl the display case around to see everything at a glance rather than pick them up one by one, say, the way cards are stacked at most stores - it's there in a jiff to see, touch, have! I keep mine up on a shelf so you will need a small table or shelf space to store it on. And you don't have to buy the costly clips - paper clips work just as well, I've learned (after buying 2 extra packs of clips!) :-D
Another resounding YES here! I love mine. I have both tiers and have found that I have used more embellishments than I had in ages because they're right at my fingertips. Now if I can just stop buying more. I keep filling up the empty spaces.
I don't have one but am building something similar using a towel bar and s-hooks to hang all of my things on. The towel bar cost $15, and the s-hooks were around $5 for 10 at the hardware store. The only difference is this will hang on the wall next to my desk instead of sit on top of it.
