Question Clear bags for candy treats?

Can anyone tell me where you get the little bags for the candy treats used with the bag toppers? I have the huge 3x11 gussetted bags but they are too expensive to cut down for treat bags for the kids at school (3 classes of 20).

Thanks so much!

Check out the cake decorating/candy aisle at Michael's. Not sure, but believe I've bought them there before. Also, Hobby Lobby probably has them.

I don't know if they still make them this way but unmarked baby bottle liners could be used. I used to find them at KMart but that was quite awhile ago. They were quite inexpensive at the time, which is good thing when you have to make so many!!! Hope this helps.

I have 4,000 3x2(I think) bags that I used for my DD wedding favors. I only used 300 but it was cheaper to buy a bunch. I will give you what ever you need just pay postage. They are not clear cellophane, but sort of like the type of plastic as a ziploc bag. They do not have a zipper. If you are interested I will try to email you a picture of them when I get home from work. I will give some to everyone who wants some, just pay the postage. (shouldn't be much)

I got mine at paperzone.com about a year ago. Party stores like party city may carry them too

They have the zip lock little ones at most of the craft stores, WalMart, JoAnn's, Michaels - I have used these often, they work great with the bag toppers just not if your going to tie a ribbon on them.
I also like them because I can package them all up and seal them and then put them together.
And they are fairly cheap - esp with 40% off.
By the way - I just found out that at Michaels - I can use both my Michaels and my JoAnn coupon at the same time, no more fishing cash out for the kids to buy it.

My Target right now has valentine ones. They are all clear, but have a large red heart in the middle on one side - would look great with a topper! I bought a couple of packs - they were in the $1 spot in packs of 25. Really cute!!

Smile

I just bought these at michaels yesterday- they have the ones in the decorating isle that dont close in 3 sizes - 100 in a bag for $3-5 depending on the size.. they also have those same ones at Card & Party outlet.. BUT at michaels they also have the "zipper close" type ones near the art isle - drawing paper etc.. many times near the yarn.. I think they are labeld for holding craft items.. . 100 in a bag - 3 sizes for $1.49.. I would think they would be just fine for small candy treats..
