Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending April 4, 2010
Happy Easter, everyone!
Welcome to the CLEAN AND SIMPLE Favorites thread! You are invited to share links to your favorite clean and simple projects from this week's gallery uploads. Newcomers are welcome!
Before I get on with my list (which is long!) I want to thank k dunbrook for starting last week's thread when I could not. Thanks, Karen!
mmbc made kraft paper elegant with her You're the Best card
whiterockmama used a big pop of orange on her wonderful butterfly card
Clear and Simple made an adorable set of card and basket on her Hello Chickie project
hskelly used negative shapes inspired by Maile Belles on her delightfully CAS Thank You card
ltecler used kraft and green and a fab border punch to make a clean birthday card suitable for a man or woman
lauraos used punched pastel circles to send an Easter message simply and beautifully
JulieHRR made her own log to give her squirrel a place to sit on her Thinking of You card...brilliant! Her Sympathy Card also jumped into my favorites because it's so pretty
JuilletQuatorze used all Hero Arts new stamps on her delightfully fresh and pretty thank you card
krystie lee's popped up snail on her Snail Mail card is TOO STINKIN' CUTE!
artsy_em used a simple turquoise button to take her kraft OLC to CAS perfection on her Cute as a Button card
Petal Pusher used color extremely simply and extraordinarily effectively on her Happy Moments birthday card
annascreations showed admirable retstraint on her Simple Tree birthday card and left perfection alone...so hard to do sometimes, don't you think?
susanbri used twinkling H2Os to create a very soft and soothing Thinking of You card
bonnierose made an adorable kraft and paper pieced notecard set that totally made me smile
k dunbrook used a black pen to make her CAS60 card completely perfect; also, her Hello Sweetie card is clean and simple vintage at its best
orangegymnut used a cute snail and sentiment perfectly on her happy OLC Sending Smiles across the Miles...intended for a deployed soldier to send to his children
stampinscotsgirl used the polished stone technique to make a simply stunning flourish card
lnl96 made a fantastically simple and sparkly Tree Hugger card using dp and a simply stamped sentiment matted perfectly; her Spring Has Sprung card is also fabulous!
peebsmama made a one-layer sympathy card that jumped out at me for its simplicity and soft colors
LeAnne Pugliese inspired me to start my Christmas cards with her beautiful CAS Christmas Tree
TheresaCC made a stunningly fresh and pretty Wisteria Tree card
Many, many thanks to all who participate in the CAS community here at SCS. The truly great thing about SCS is how all styles, all skill levels, and all opinions are allowed to flourish in a NICE community full of lovely, supportive people. I get a big warm fuzzy just thinking about it!
If you have a chance amidst all the holiday festivities, please post your own CAS favorites here, and leave a little love in the form of comments for some CAS cards today. We all appreciate encouragement!
