Just to add to Angie's post - the Favorites forum also includes a thread for CAS Favorites for those of you who prefer the Clean and Simple style.  Both the Favorites and the CAS Favorites can be found through Angie's link.

Ohhh, Ahhhh to the CAS Challenge. I will be visiting the gallery even if I can't play today. I LOVE gray scale. Hmmmm. Now that is interesting. I love gray scale in nature AND in cards. It's another gray day here and I am happy as can be.

The TLC784 is Criss Cross! I have used this tutorial and really liked how my card turned out. Since I am tutorial challenged, I recommend this one, if I can do it anyone can!

I'm not going to try linking directly because I've been getting to many division by module zero error messages again (there's a direct forum link in my signature); the Teapot Tuesday challenge is going this week to a friend of jkanack's, and it's all about birds. That was easy for me, except narrowing down the choice. Most of my stamps are organised by company, but one of my Really Useful trays is Birds and Music. In the end I used some avocets. We don't have them here, and they are the symbol of the RSPB in the UK, as they used to be on the endangered species list. We've seen them in France, they are so elegant. I prefer the stilts, but DH loves the avocets with their curved beaks. The ones here are just black and white.

We are always looking for destinations for Teapot Tuesdays...milestone celebrations, support, encouragement, just because some happy mail would be nice. REQUEST A TEA PARTY HERE - 2020 UPDATE

Have you been keeping up with the challenges this week?

Here is what we have so far:

Color Challenge - Very Basic Red

A friend needs cheering for the Teapot Challenge.

The Sketch Challenge includes a good bit of vertical space.

WT782 is sympathy cards. It's always a good idea to create sympathy cards when you don't need them! I find it especially difficult to create sympathy cards when I am sad.

I am your Free 4 All hostess this week for Walking on Sunshine.
The MIX is Bumpy Roads.

So the question is.  Have you had a chance to take part in any of this week's fabulous challenges?

To answer your question, Angie:

I finally got caught up with the last few challenges that I wanted to do - I got last week's Mixability done, Saturday's Inspiration Challenge, Monday's CAS, Tuesday's Color Challenge, and today's Ways to Use It.

And I have a card half done for the last Mini VSN challenge.

And now I'm going to get behind again as a friend is arriving tomorrow to visit for a few days!!

I haven't had a chance to make a card yet this week - I'm hoping this afternoon, but I have to go to the library and shopping after work and might just collapse after that. I did write letters/notes to put in my Monday and Tuesday cards. We're out for the day on Saturday too: I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.
The only plus is that all the overtime in work let me feel I could buy a new die.

Sounds like it was a tough week for creating!

If you are struggling with your mojo Julie has just the thing to get you going again! The Inspiration Challenge is taking us to an amazing Pinboard. I have the site bookmarked for future projects because so many of the designs called out to me.

Tough week yes... yesterday didn't happen. Had to stay in work, so had to go shopping in the evening. The library closes at 5 on Friday, so I still have to go on Monday. I don't know when I'll get to stamp as it looks really busy in work for next week too.

The IC sounds great but bummer on the site issues meaning that Julie lost the attachments, I was hoping to peek at them.

we have 3 lambs where they are 5 and 4 weeks old but, one of the ewes is in labor now. ( the ones we have so far are at that fun age where they hop everywhere and are currently chasing chickens, the chickens have been in a different pen when they were let out of their coop & yard this last few months so, its all general population right now and the lambs think the chickens are the best thing going at the moment.

fun stuff

nope have not made anything in a long time it feels like.

I peek at the list and tell my self you can make a yada yada and squeak in this challenge and that challenge and channel Carlene while you're at it, but so far it has not happened.

Color Challenge - Coral Daffodils by the Sea. Very pretty!

The Teapot Challenge - Oh my! You have to stop over there and read this challenge recipient's story! So cool! I love stories about people going the extra mile for one another!

So we don't always have time to play in the challenges but let's pretend we get to create something for each of today's challenges.

What is the first thing that pops into your head when you see the Color Challenge?

What is your favorite coffee stamp set? Or link a favorite coffee card you have made.

First thing that popped into my head for the Color Challenge was a smooshed background using Distress Oxide inks in colours close to the SU ones.

My favorite coffee stamp set is by Stamplorations. Here's a card I made with it:

Books and Coffee by susanbri - at Splitcoaststampers

I also love this single stamp from Stamplorations:

Winter Mornings by susanbri - at Splitcoaststampers

Stacy, it sounds like sweet fun at your house. I can just picture the lambs bounding after the chicks!

I know what you mean. When I look at the challenges, I think the same thing. I could make this and this and then my free time takes me elsewhere.

Susan, I love those are great coffee stamps! Beautiful cards.

The MIX - Supply dash!

So I have to admit that I am quite often stumped with the MIX challenges because I don't know what to MIX but with the new Paper Glazes from Picket Fence Studios it's getting easier for me make a MIX!

IC745 - The Gray Muse

I am the hostess for the IC today! I discovered The Gray Muse when I went to Lydia's Stamping Retreat. The pins are such fun.

Here is one of the cards I created for the IC and it shows off my Glaze Mix too!

Lastly, we all need safe places to land where we don't have to think about current affairs so this thread is all about crafty goodness but if you could use a listening ear please Private Message me!

Love to you all and I hope you enjoy some crafting time today!

Remember, here at SCS it's never too late to play in a challenge and it's so fun to make our Featured Stamper smile.

Oh my! The TLC is so striking!

Did you get the chance to play? Have you ever watercolored on black cardstock before?

The Color challenge is soft and lovely for spring!

What art supply do you have the most of?

I have enough patterned paper to last me the rest of my life, so no worries on that one! How about you?

I got a card done for the TLC - it was really fun to make and I'll use the technique again.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get one done for CAS and maybe the Color Challenge - such pretty colours.

I have way too much patterned paper - especially given I now prefer making my own backgrounds. But I'd say the supplies I have the most of are stamps - I really need to weed some out!

Our Featured Stamper is Sheri Gilson! You will have a wonderful time browsing her gallery.

How is everyone?
Did you put your feelings into a piece of art this week?

I did and I just realized I didn't upload it to SCS this week.

I will do it later and then come back and link so you can see.

Feel free to link a project you created this week that is meaningful to you.

I only got one card made for a regular challenge this week. I also got 3 done for VSN challenges. Vancouver had a week of beautiful weather so I took advantage of it to start my spring garden clean-up. This coming week we're supposed to get showers / rain so will do more inside, including hopefully, more cards.

With all of us staying home a lot these days, I'm hoping there will be lots of participation in VSN next weekend. There are lots of great challenges!

Because of the 30 Day Coloring challenge, I have lots of images colored... but none will work for MY vsn challenge. So that’s first on my list today.

I created two samples with the express purpose of using them for VSN and just realized my dates are off! I can't share them until the 3rd. Which is ok, I can share them before the deadline but it would have been fun to use them on the day!

Sorry I've been MIA here. Still busy in work. Last week wasn't too bad because I got the day before St. Patrick's Day off too, but the previous two weeks were manic. I was glad I had any challenge samples made ahead, as I had neither time nor energy. And my mobile data allowance nearly ran out so for a few days I wasn't online while commuting so couldn't even respond here...

Color Challenge is right up my alley!

For the Teapot Challenge we are thanking Michael for his incredible generosity. in December he paid $4,600 worth of electric bills for people who were about to have their power shut off!

Question for the day:
Would you rather create a galaxy card or an ocean card.

I would rather create a galaxy card but I create ocean type cards the most.

I would rather create an ocean card. Love those. I don't think I have ever created a galaxy card.

Michael is a great person!!!!
