The Fan Club theme looks like a lot of fun. Maybe we can keep that in mind as we create this month and play along!

Stacy, I have that old PSX tulip stamp.  I love it.  I have a few cards in my gallery using it.  But I haven't used it for a few years - must get it out and make a card with it this spring.

Angie, I was thinking it would be very easy to make a four square stamp from fun foam.

I had fun last night trying Joseph's Coat with DOX which was something I had been wanting to do. I'd like to hope I could finish it up I to something today, but it depends on how long it takes me to make an off-size pillowcase for my aunt, whom I am visiting tomorrow.

Sabrina, I am straightness challenged!  Just thinking about trying to align four blocks of foam has my mind shutting down!

So very sweet of you to create a pillowcase for your aunt!  You are such a sweetie.  I would love to meet you IRL!  I hope you get your card finished too!

Color Challenge is up: CC779

The teapot Challenge is for a 15 year old who has to stay in the hospital for 30 days!  Bright and Cheery is our challenge!

My question today.  Is there something artsy you would like to make time for but can't seem to get to? It could be a technique, coloring medium you haven't tried or tried in awhile, organization, a challenge, or maybe a stamp you really want to use?

I want to make some backgrounds with my Gel Press but I just can't seem to make time.

To answer your question, Angie - I would love to try doing some art journalling using more mixed media.  Also I'd like to use all of my never used stamps!  And my craft room is in dire need of organization!!  But between my volunteering, gardening, knitting, reading, time with my dog and my friends, etc., all I seem to be able to get done in my craft room is making cards!

I have several things...the gelli press plate is one of them, that I would like to play with.  I have a list of techniques (watercolor backgrounds is one) I would like to try & a bunch of stamps that I need to get inked.

Oh, but you'd permanently mount them...on an old wood block, or a sheet of heavy clear packaging if you wanted to be able to use it in the MISTI. I've done that with some die-cut   foam stamps.

What I'd mostly like is time upstairs to do anything at all. I feel so behind with things. I did get the pillowcase made. She had two and I altered one successfully but then she couldn't find the other one.  I rushed my card, because I won't be home tomorrow and I have to go grocery shopping after work on Thursday.

I have done similar 4 squares with some single squares I have but, I decided the money would be worth it to save time in the future. ( but, I will be ripping it off the block when it comes as I want to use it in my misti)

It's starting to feel like spring here so, it will be fun to color up some flowers soon I hope.

Yes! I saw a couple of brave crocuses yesterday as I walked to my aunt's from the train station. Plenty of daffodils out, but it's dreary grey weather.

Today's WT challenge is a spelling one: WT780 - A Recipe for Love - 02/20/2020 - Splitcoaststampers

And I loved the Mixability Challenge today as I love great quote sentiments so got a card made for it today. But I do want to get one done for the F4A challenge too as I have an idea for it.  Hopefully tomorrow.

Hoping to do the F4A today as I have an idea for it. And took a quick look at the Inspiration website and saw a couple of t-shirts that might inspire Christmas cards!

I still have a stamp I was hoping to make a card for the CAS challenge with , but I don't know if I'll get time. Loved reading the childhood memories in the F4A gallery. Not much inkiness here today, I'm just too tired.

So, Misti's comment the other day about the flower stamps made me go look at the VSN threads and it looks like next weekend there is a Mini one

and my Tulip stamp is here.

(and its the right one this time) many years ago I bought that same stamp, it was un-inked, when it arrived the wood was exactly the same, I inked up the rubber and you should have seen my face when I looked at the image... it was an Iris.

(I still have this stamp) I am thinking to un-mount the Iris one though because, this would create some confusion I think when I look at the box of flower stamps down the line.

When I linked up yesterday's and today's challenges it made me itch to go create something but I have been moving slowly today. My daughter is home. We had coffee and waffles together! She is off to spend some time with a friend now but I am not sure I will get to create. This day is zooming by!

Susan, I hope you get the chance to create. I will be looking for something new in your gallery!

Sabrina, I get it. My daughter and I watched a Scooby Doo episode and I just didn't want to get up from the sofa!

Oh, wow Stacy, that would be a surprise expecting one image and seeing a totally different image. I am glad you have the correct one now! I signed up for a spot as hostess for VSN. When I told my husband my idea for my sample, he said I need to go bigger with my idea! haha! We shall see.

I tossed something at them too, but so far I have only got a thumbs up from Lee so I don't know what Misti and Kim are thinking yet.

OOPs! I guess I missed the TLC yesterday. Weird I thought I posted it. That is sort of scary. I wonder if I posted it to another thread somewhere. Somewhere at SCS someone might be scratching their head and wondering "what is that girl talking about?"

So the TLC is bright and colorful. I would like to try the technique!

The Color Challenge is very striking this week. I actually used those colors on my wreath card yesterday but with distress inks they turn out more muted. My new favorite Distress Ink Easter color combo!

The Teapot Challenge Destination is to one another and the challenge is
Kintsugi. Check it out, it's a cool technique and a beautiful thought for our lives!

And this is how my days go.  I started this post several hours ago!  Must have gotten distracted and when I came back to the computer found the comment open!

How is your day going?  What are you creating today?

The sketch challenge is up!

The focal point of the sketch is a heart which could be changed out to any image that would fit. In the gallery I see: flowers and hearts and many other sweet images!
If you have the time or had the time, what image would you use for today's sketch focal point?

Free time? What's that?? I would use a flower, I think. Or maybe a stamped image on a circle die-cut, with a vellum sentiment.

Woohoo!! All three VSN challenges are up and there is plenty of time to play along! (Check out post #155 to the VSN Link or Misti's link to the individual challenge)  .  For some reason I can't get it to link)  Also today's

Now that my VSN cards are uploaded and other VSN info is posted, I am going to play along with MIX and F4A. I have some watercolored tissue paper left from my challenge which I can use for Lydia's MIX. Have to think about the F4A, but I'll come up with something.
