Default Cellophane Bags

I notice that all throughout the SU Catalog the Cellophane Bags are used to put food items in. What a CUTE idea!! But here is my question/concern:

Are these bags "really" safe for food??? With all the talk about bad stuff getting on your food from plastic type storage......

Can anybody tell me what SU Cellophane bags are really made of and if they are maybe FDA Approved or Not???? MY DH has me all freaked out about using them now!
