I used 5.5x4.25, just because I was used to cutting that size. I also inked around the edges of each piece with it's coordinating color, and attached whatever brads and ribbons matched certain pieces. It's a great reference tool!

I too used the SU! tag punch, punched holes in the top and put on a ring.

But, I love this part the best - I consider myself to be color challenged. So I made several tag punches of each color. Wrote the name and color family on them. Put 1 set in a ring. Put the other 2 of each color in a small plastic tupperware thingie. Now when I want to see how colors look together I pull out the tupperware and choose which colors I want and see them next to each other to see if I like the look. Its made the whole process much faster/easier for me.

I have 3 CS rings on binder rings that hang on hooks near my work table -

One is larger pieces (2x3) sorted by color family
One is large tag punch sized sorted by color family
One is large tag punch sized sorted ROYGBIV

I probably use the ROYGBIV one the most - to find the best "green" etc...
Use them all the time - well worth the time and expense of making them~~

Thanks!

I have just started using SU cardstock and am really considering ordering one of these rings from the lady on ebay, I wouldn't want to cut into each piece of my new beautiful cardstock to make a ring and I'm not patient enough to wait until I have scraps from each color to make one. LOL

Thanks ladies!! After reading the responses, I decided that it was well worthwhile to just order the cardstock ring off ebay! Now with the time I was going to spend putting a ring together, I can stamp. Who knows?! Maybe I'll actually get a card made!!

I just made some for my downline members for gifts and I used the Scallop Circle punch. I also use the SU labels that are sold in the catalog. It was super easy to make and I bought the split ring at JoAnn's.
