Default Card, colour help!

Hey all!

So I have my first workshop tomorrow night and my starter kit has yet to arrive at my house! UPS said it should be here today, but I haven't seen it yet, so I'm wondering if anyone can help!

I really want to make cards using the "Jolliest Time of the Year" stamp set, the snowman stamp preferably. My idea was to use the Soft Subtles colours 'Sage Shadow' and 'Bashful Blue.' However, if my package doesn't come, I have to work with what I've got, right? Well that happens to be a lot of gray, which does NOT scream Christmas to me!

The only other color families I have are Rich Regals, Earth Elements, and In Colour ... but I'm not sure how to take those and the gray sheets (light and dark) and make them Christmas-y.

Can anyone help?

Try the gray with Ruby Red and Old Olive - or maybe gray and Elegant Eggplant with Soft Sky. I don't know what inks you have, so that makes it a bit tough. HTH!

Thanks! That does help ...

It sure is hard just starting out and having limited resources!

I used close to cocoa, ruby red and garden green for my christmas cards. I think also using not quite navy with a gray base would be quite nice! It doesn't have to be red and green.....
