Default Melting Candles!!

I stamp my image on white tissue paper, cut the tissue paper to the size of the candle. Then I use wax paper, cut the size of the candle plus some for "handles" and use the heat gun in a back and forth motion about 4 inches away from the wax paper. When the image colors look bright, carefully pull off the wax paper.
Hope this helps.
Smile, E

I have done this w/o the wax paper. What does the wax paper make better? I haven't had trouble w/o it, but am always looking to make things better.

Thanks
