I have a day planner type of spiral notebook, and I put some of my kids pictures on the front. Now I want some way to protect them. Would mod podge be the way to go? I've never used it before.
I'd say yes. Pick a duplicate picture and try it out on a sample piece of cardboard (like the cereal box) and see how you like the look. It seals it in so that the edges cannot be pulled up. it would also be lightly wipeable as well. You might do a test- one with it printed on photo paper, and another printed on cardstock, as I've never done it with a photo before. Maybe others will reply that have done this exact thing.
Thanks! I will watch for other responses as well. I'm not worried about 'ruining' the pictures for future use, and I only want them to last a year. I just want to know if I paint the mod podge on there, will I be able to see the pictures clearly, and how well will it keep them on there, etc.

I have used pics of my grandchildren and used mod-podge to adhere them to metal tray tables. Have also used pics on wooden trays with mod-podge--Both turned out great.

Just use a light hand with the modge and you'll be fine. It dries clear. Don't put too much on or it will "buckle" the photo and cause the photo part to lift....
