Default Can anyone recommend a custom stamp maker???

I give up - I'm looking for a rubber stamp of Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever." I have an idea for a swap that I'm doing, and nothing will do me except to have this stamp - otherwise I'll never be happy if I have to settle for another verse.

I've looked online and can't find one anywhere. So, I'm thinking as a last resort I need to have one made. Has anyone had a rubber stamp custom made before and if so, how was the experience?

Thanks very much.

I've read about ones that people have had made on ebay. Haven't read anything negative...of course, I'd check the person's feedback and such.

That is a great verse!! It would make an awesome stamp! Hope you can get one done!

on the operation write home site they have a link to the people that make the stamps for the backs of their cards. I think that they are called imagine arts or something like that. I got somethign from them and they were really good.

Why not just print it with some nice fonts from your computer?

I just had a couple of stamps made for my ETSY shop at RubberStamps.net. I was pleased at how they came out.

I buy custom stamps from http://imaginestamps.com/custom-stamps.html
She makes clear photopolymer stamps.
Once in a while a stamp or two will have a little "dip" in it so it doesn't ink properly. But she replaces it at once after I email her about any problems.

Give Heart & Soul rubber stamps a try. Deeply etched red rubber, sold mounted, unmounted with cushion and unmounted without cushion. Great prices.

I got some really wonderful scripture verse sets from Sue, the owner, last year. She will make stamps for you if you don't find what you want in her online catalog. On her FAQ page she says if you ask for a verse and they like it and want to carry it in their line then they will give you the stamp for free! That's such a beautiful verse that I think you'd stand a good chance with it.

The only possible drawback I see could be the time factor. It is a small company, basically a one-woman show I think, and she may not be able to provide the stamp on the timeline you need.

Give Sue a call! She was wonderful to deal with. I'm not affiliated with her in any way, just a very happy customer.

Try Village Impressions. I had some stamps made by her and they are very nice to deal with and speedy. They can design it for you, or you can submit it ready-made.

Thanks everyone!

I've tried printing out on my card stock but always seem to have issues, and thought just having a stamp of the verse would be easier.

As a long-term solution, suggest your verse to SCS Member Company Our Daily Bread Designs http://www.ourdailybreaddesigns.com/. They might be interested in producing it in a future set. Morningstar Stamps http://www.morningstarstamps.com/ also has several scripture verses and may be interest in your idea.
