Many of us are awed by your wonderful new gallery. I was going to PM you to tell you how much I admire your work, but decided to do it here in the open forum hoping you will tell us all a little bit about yourself. I would love to "meet" you! I see that you joined SCS recently and wanted to welcome you! If you already posted your introduction and I missed it, I apologize. We're very happy to have you here at SCS!
I'm off to work, so won't see your response till this evening. Have a great day!
Me too, me too. I love your work. Princessink...come out, come out, whereever you are!!!! We would like to know who you are. We promise we behave! Well...as much as we can.
Thank you again!!
I'm sorry about omitting an intro, I'm new to forums and probably missed several things. Here's some info about me. I am a mother of 3 ranging in ages from 10 to 17. PrincessInk comes from my cat who loves to watch me stamp and then walks over my opened pads and cards to leave her own little mark. I don't have a degree in art but come from a family of self taught artists. I've been stamping for 10 years but didn't do much until I joined SU 6 years ago. Since then I teach classes at home every week and love the oppty it's given me to meet people and make many new friends. I came across this website in December when I was looking for Celebrations ideas and was amazed by some of the most beautiful cards. I was also touched by the way everyone shared their work, ideas, techniques and stories. So I was inspired to share some of my own ideas. I hope you continue to enjoy them as much as I enjoy seeing your creations!!
Please count me in as being another 'stalker' in your gallery!! I'd love to attend one of your classes. Where do you live? In case you don't live close to me, (about a 99.9% chance) please include to post your work with clear instructions. I'm a slow learner! Like Kerry D-C, I want to be you when I grow up!!
I would like to add my welcome to our stamping world here at SCS. I have found some wonderful friends here that have been so incredibly supportive, generous and kind! We are excited to have you amongst us - your natural artistic talents definitely show through. Hopefully you will be able to glean as much from us as we have from you! My stamping years total about 1 1/2 now and happening upon SCS has been a true stamper's retreat. HUGE thanks to Daven and all the wonderful ladies (and men?? perhaps there are a few hiding amongst us) who make this site what it is!!!
Welcome Welcome Welcome!
Your work is FANTABULOUS! I feel like my cards are comparable to my 3yr olds next to your work!
I just did a mapquest from me in Mass to Roseland and it will take me about 4 hours to get to you! But I drive fast so we'll say 3 hrs 15 minutes. LOL! I'll be at your next weekly class!
I am in Rockland Co, NY, and was born relatively close to where you are now (Orange Memorial) - according to mapquest.com you are only 50 minutes away! What is for dinner? HAHAHA!
Seriously, though, I am not far away. I would LOVE to meet you and lay gifts at your feet to show my appreciation for the visual treats you are sharing with us. Thank you very much for sharing them!!
My next request is - when can you post MORE? Need MORE!
If your cat needs a bath, my dog loves to groom cats. Not that the cats particularly love it right away, but they eventually get used to it if they've been around slobbery friendly labrador retrievers!!!
All my best,
Nancy

Ooooh our East Coast Queen! Julie HRR is the West Coast Queen!! Honor her with chocolate!! (Is that OK princessink?)
Your work is AWESOME - truly inspiring and incredible!!
My kudos to you as well, PrincessInk! I wandered through your gallery last night clicking several pieces of art into my favorites folder so that I could come back and relish them later. Thanks for bringing some true lovliness into our day!
Hey PrincessInk, it's so nice to make your aquaintence. You are a great addition to Splitcoast and will be one of my favorites here for sure. I am mucho inspired to step it up a notch and strive for better cards...that is if I can pull my nose out of your gallery long enough to actually stamp something! LOL
Well, I think we know who might be a guest artist for the DDD!
Your work is awesome! I glaced at your gallery quickly last night and saved a card to my favs! I think I need to go back and look a little closer now!
Welcome to the wonderful world of SCS. Hopefully you will still find time to stamp!
I just got home from work. I'm so excited that princessink answered my call! Again welcome to SCS! So glad to meet you!!! Would you mind sharing your first name with us? (It's ok if you'd rather not) I didn't think of using a cute name when I signed up and have always wished I had one of the "princess" names too! Looking forward to getting to know you as you post more to the forums. Continuing to look forward to your gallery additions of course!
It's funny to me when I saw the post that I recognized the name. I don't usually troll the galleries - I just haven't had much time lately, but I was prepping for an upcoming workshop and my hostess requested a Valentine card demo. My only set with a good "heart" is Sketch an Event so I was searching for some fresh ideas and, lo and behold, there are all of these gorgeous new ideas for the set! Thank you for posting them. They look a bit complicated for me to demo - but I am going to have a great time copying them for my own enjoyment - they are so beautiful. Thank you so much for posting. You are so very talented!

Another fan here! I've been in awe since your first post. At work I call friends over to show them your gallery and we stand gazing longingly in speechless wonder; a hush falls over the room. I've been inspired by many of the artists on this site and now you are among them. I was putting all your cards in favorites until I realized I would wind up with your whole gallery in there. Now I just consider your gallery an extension of my favorites. We can all learn something from each other, can't we? Whether it's a color combination or a layout or a technique.
I'm so happy to have you a part of our group. I'm happy to BE a part of this group. I'll be keeping an eye out for you as I enjoy all the wonderful posts I see on here daily!

Oh...and I'll bring some desserts!
LOL Kerry Swing through the town just North (at least I think I am north of you LOL) and pick me up for the ride!
Princessink I just wandered onto your gallery and couldn't believe all the AMAZING cards. After I drooled all over my keyboard and e-mailed a friend to tell her to check out the gallery, I felt I had to let you khow much your cards are loved and then Istumblee onto this thread and found I'm not the only one Your use of light and dark contrast is so eyecatching and I love that many of your cards could easy be used as masculine cards too! They are truly works of art and I hope you are charging enough for your classes, your talent is priceless.
Cecilia, thank you so much for sharing your creations with us. I am blown away by the work you have in your gallery. You have an AMAZING talent.
Last night, I was in your gallery and all I could say was...OMG...OMG OMG over...and over...and over....
I hope that you decide to stay here and continue to share with us!!
So glad you are sharing with us in this forum! If you were to offer a class at a National meeting or edit a book, I know the line of people wanting to get in would go around the corner. Think of the opportunities! You have something wonderful to share. (Somebody let Stampin Up management know about her...)
I was pming PrincessInk and telling her the same things which were posted in this thread.
Not only is she fantastic - she is more than willing to take the time and share her techniques -
I think she has a stack of cards which she will be scanning and uploading (SOON PLEASE) - and with her talents - she will be bringing those dusty ol' sets back to life!
Any card will do Cecelia -
((And yes - I am a fan of Lord of the Rings - we had a dog in the 80s named Frodo - my mom used to read JRR Tolkin to us as kids))....
