Default Bundle of Joy after it retires

I really like the bundle of joy set. DH and are I planning to have a baby end of next of year, and CTMH doesn't really have a comparable set. I am going back and forth on buying it. After all, there may be a better set next year from SU or CTMH, and it's not guaranteed we'll have a baby. So, I am not wanting to put money in a set that I am not guaranteed to ever use.

Do you all think the set will increase in value on the secondary market? I am just wondering if I should gamble on it and hope that it will stay reasonable, because honestly, I'd rather get non-baby stuff at this point.

There is a chance that it might make it into the catalog. So, the price might remain the same. Good luck with the baby plans.

You might check the prices on Ebay. I just looked and it doesn't seem like there is any rush to bid on that set.

If you really like it, go fot it. Even if they get another set you like more or as much, two baby sets isn't too much. They are nice to have when you need a baby card for someone else, too.

I know how you feel. I never seem to have enough extra dollars for all the retiring stamp sets that I wish I had. Ebay is good place to look. I'd also add that if you really like it and if don't get it you will regret it. So I'd say go for it.

Ditto that! My sisters are all done having kids, and my friends are too old LOL! (well, I shouldn't say that, I just heard from a friend who moved to NC two years ago that she found out she's preggers... found out ON her 40th bday! YIKES)

Anyway, I loved the animals in it, and intend to use it for more than just baby stuff!

Well, you could aways buy it, and then if something you like better comes out then you could just trade it.

If you really like it, I'd get it. It is a gamble on if it will be available in the big catty...and you never know what sets will go for big $$$ after they are no longer available. I am on the fence with this set as well and I will probably cave.

Are you talking about SU's Bundle of Joy? It made the new catty, as well as a coordinating stamp set called Bundled in Love. Super cute, and has a tag stamp, a hipp, a bunny, a pull-toy duck, another invite stamp, and two sentiments.

Bundle of Joy - 23.95
Bundled in Love - 27.95
