Default Brother ScanNCut

Has anyone got this machine yet? Looks interesting.

Obviously it won't be out in the Uk for ages yet and will be the same price in pounds as dollars (crafting is so much more expensive here!). So it would be good to know what you think of it before embarking on yet another machine!

Sorry can't do a link as I haven't figured out how to do it on my iPad!

Here is a link to it on Amazon. And there's a video of how it works if you click on the last two images.

I am so interested in this machine. I already own a Cameo, which I only bought for print and cut, and it is good for it but I hate doing the registration marks thing. I use my cricut for the majority of my shape cutting since i have some many carts and I really like the machine. I am hoping the ScanNcut will be just what I need to skip that extra step between printing and cutting with my cameo. So far none of the videos I have come across have really explored this side of the machine much. I am tempted to buy it and play with it, but for 399 and Amazon's not so generous return policy, it would be a big risk.

The other poster is mistaken. Both models cut paper and fabric...both are shipped with regular blade and deep cut blade, and both models are shipped with fabric support sheets. The differences between the two models are the more expensive one comes with pens and pen holder, an extra mat, more pre-installed images, and an extra design CD.

I got my machine and I have been playing with it with my stamps...pretty cool machine. It cuts really well...cuts thin stuff better than my cricut and cuts thicker stuff my cameo can't.
