Default Brocade Blue Cardstock?

Wow..... I just got a new pack of brocade blue cardstock. I had to check the label number because I honestly couldn't figure out what color this cardstock was.

I have now *three* shades of brocade blue in my folder. And none are even close to being the same!! The first two were more similar but this new one is shades away!

Anyone else noticing this? Are they changing the color permanently?

Kimberly

I used it for my Christmas cards and noticed that the color wasn't constant. I hope it all works out soon because it's a pain

I noticed this too. I just ordered a pack of each color with tax money (yeah!) and had to check the number on the package because it didn't match anything I already had. I really don't know if they are changing it or what.

I've noticed. The stamp pad is really dark, too.

I don't think I'd worry about it for a swap. Just use the stuff up. If you're doing a workshop, though, and the customers see 3 different shades, they might wonder.

It's crazy.

I noticed it with Ballet Blue...I have four different shades! And of course I ran out of the shade I was using while making my Easter cards. Ugh!

I have two completely different shades of Ballet Blue. I'm using it for my Easter cards and don't mind that it's different, but I hate when that happens for a workshop!

I had a customer with a B.Blue spot and an ink cartridge that didn't match, her spot matched mine so we thought it was the cartridge that was off. DS sent a new one and it was the same. When I called to tell them, I was told that the same company doesn't make both cartridges and pads so there will be some inconsistancy, they are only supposed to be co-ordinating. The colours were really off, the cartridge was almost Bordering Blue. I checked my recruits spot and pad and they are different colours too. Her pad is dark, her spot is light. My customer doesn't like it because she wants the colours to match for card making. I don't blame her so I bought a re-inker and will re-ink which ever one I have to. I would do this for her today if SU hadn't forgotten to pack my re-inker in my order that I got today.

I noticed that my new Rose Romance is very different than my previous stash. There were a other colors that were different also, one was a blue but not sure which one exactly.

I just received my 2nd pack of brocade blue since the middle of January. The 1st pack I ordered didn't match, and a friend of mine had ordered an assorted pack and her's didn't match her previous either. (our's matched) My upline called SU after the 1st pack and assorted pack differences. They said they hadn't had any other calls about the paper. So I ordered the 2nd pack. No improvement in the match. Has anyone heard anything else? I really liked the previous brocaded blue.

I haven't seen it with Brocade Blue (haven't checked) but my chocolate chip and close to cocoa stamp pads are in the wrong containers. It's pretty confusing and I can't really demo with them...

Lisa, I agree with you on the color... it's a great new color, but a shocker! I didn't really love the old color... it was too grey/green?

This new one is very pretty!
