Default Black and white cards

Has anyone ever made a gift card set with a black and white theme? I'm perplexed with ideas for designs - I bought some black and white dp, ribbon and b/w embellishments. I did try searching the gallery... if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!!

PS I'm thinking of some elegant birthday and thank you cards... but also think this theme would be beautiful for a wedding card.

My favourite card of all time was one that my friend made for me when I was ill. It was a mirroring technique, using a big butterfly (can't remember the set name, just recently retired) One side was done in white, on black and the other was black on white. They were done with embossing powders, and looked so beautiful!
You could do the same idea using any symetrical largish stamp. (Flowers might look good)

I, too, like black and white. I like to add a splash of color---fuschia or red, maybe bright yellow!

Here's an easy black and white one I made. [URL="http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/780314?cat=500&ppuser=35982"] I used those cute little Heidi Swapp "Bling" things to make it shine. I love black and white!

Well, it's not a card set but you may get some ideas. I had one of my best friend's daughter get married with an all black and white theme. It was quite a challenge.

This gift...

was what I came up with. It didn't really photograph well but it was super cute irl! (not too many comments though... sigh)

The key to it, for me, was using alot of texture, pearl brads, silver touches and a bit of bling.

Hope it helps!
