Default Best ink for felt and fabric?

What have you found to be the best inks to use for stamping on felt and fabric? I have some fabric paper and I'm not happy with my inks on it, they bleed. Would love to hear your experiences!

I've never stamped on felt - I'm not sure it would make a nice impression because of the fuzziness of it but for regular fabric I only use Palette inks.

I've had great success with the Palette inks for both felt and fabric. Just last night I stamped some PTI Raspberry Fizz onto their cream felt and it looks great!

Thank you, I will give my palette inks a try! Just didn't want to waste any more stuff if someone else had success!

Versacraft is great for fabrics and it's permanent if you iron it so you can use it to stamp T shirts and stuff and they go through the laundry just fine! If you're stamping for papercraft though, just about any pigment ink should be OK - I've used Brilliance on fabrics like woven cotton and silk ribbon with good results. What you want is an ink that sits on the surface (pigment) rather than one that soaks in (dye).

Have fun!

Stazon is not recommended for fabric use. I contacted Tsukineko to check why and they say it may degrade the fibers of fabrics over time so they break down. So it's probably not an issue if you're stamping on fabric to make cards but if you're making any kind of "heirloom" project, stamping on quilts etc, then avoid using Stazon.
