Default Becoming a demo HELP!!!!!!

I joined SCS in November. I've never been to a SU! demo and I don't know anyone that is a demo. Here's my question: I'm thinking about becoming a demo. But how do I do this if I don't know anyone to get me started? By the way, I only own 1 thing from SU!. How sad for me?? :(

You could go online to stampinup.com and put in your address in the Demo Locator. That should give you several names of demos near you. You could contact the various demos and check them out to see who has what you need (time to train you, etc. if you don't know that much about SU!). If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me.

I also signed up to demonstrate not seeing a demonstration before. It can be done! You will not regret it. I have been a hobby demo for almost 8 years! With the great resources SCS (wish they were around when I started) has and also the SU newsletter & website, you have it made! You will get a lot of fun product in your starter kit too!

I agree about finding the right "fit" for your upline. Check the Demo Locator and interview those people to see who offers more what you are looking for: downline meetings, card swaps, help when you need it, etc.

Default Becoming a demo help!

I can send you a recruit packet that can start to explain how it all works and what's involved. I don't know where you live but I don't mind helping you out any way I can.
You can email me personally to ask me anything too.
Do you have a catalog yet? If not I can send one to you. Just let me know. I'm happy to share with others.

I too would reccomend you go to www.stampinup.com and see who is around you that you can interview. Ask them about their vairous meetings, if they have others in their downlines and what would they expect from you...
There are also about a million demos on here who are always willing to lend a hand if you need help. Should you decide to sign up there is a Demo Forum on this site that is a user group you can join once SU! issues your demo# and you can then access that forum for valuable business related questions, workshop ideas as well as other issues that may come up.
Since the chances of there being demos in your area take some time to go to a show or two with those demos if you have time so that you can see what and how they conduct themselves. Also if you can talk to their current downlines to get a feel for how they like them you would be wise to do so! Please also feel free to ask any questions here as we are a pretty helpful bunch for the most part.
