I just read on another board the April SU special and hopefully it is accurate. Buy two background stamps and get the third one for half price. I am SO addicted to background stamps!! It will be tough to narrow it down to which 3 I want. I'm thinking cheesecloth, linen, and houndstooth.
thanks for the info. I was just going to place on order that included 2 b/g's. I think I will wait until April and get 3!!

Awesome, because the March special held absolutely no appeal to me. This one on the other hand... I'll start putting together my new spring mini/ BG stamp order now. Linen was already on the list. Now to decide on the other two - FUN!!!
Kat I checked my SS and did not see thru my quick glance a demo sign up special I will check online too later but I cant recall anything special going on right now - but alot of times they dont announce the specials until the 1st so you never know

This so rocks! My Mom and I had decided to split the cost and get the whole set of monogram stamps, which will reside at my house due to space. Now we'll get them 1/3 cheaper!
Thank you so much for telling that! I�m making an order this month (liked the special) and was going to get the swirl BG, but now I can save that to next month! (Hey, it�s my birthday in April, surely that calls for another order, right? LOL)
is this limited to one offer per person, or can I buy 6 backgrounds and get 2 1/2 off?
For every 2 you buy you get the 3rd for 1/2 off. So if you buy 6 BG stamps you will get 2 of those at 1/2 off the $16.95 (US) price. (Provided I did the math right).

No sign up special has been announced yet. But, they have announced things last minute before. So, just ask your demo to keep you posted on that. Altough, I'm sure the first place to find out such things is here on SCS!
Don't forget the BG stamps on pages 84 (Happy Birthday Greetings) and 86 (Special Day) as they are included too as well as the ones in the Spring Mini including the Monograms.

Didn't see a demo'r sign up bonus for month of April. Doesn't mean there might not be one; it isn't unusual for SU! to extend an offer with relatively short notice.

Ugh! I bought one BG this month and planned on 2 more next month. Great planning :( I already have 8. The only other BGs I REALLY want aren't the 16.95 ones. I'd rather get one of the mini BGs for 11.95 or 14.95. Do they count for the 1/2 off?
Well I just ordered 3 over the w/e!! Of course, I could easily find another 3 but that is besdide the point. This always seems to happen to me,. The minute I ordered all the craft spots, SU came out with that special!!!

Oops. I didn't explain myself. Do the little BG sets qualify for the 1/2 off? (Beyond the Basics, By Design, etc... with the least expensive being 1/2 off)
I can certainly buy another big BG stamp and make my total collection 12! I'm just wondering what my options are.

Does anyone know if the special is the same for CANADIAN orders too? Sometimes they are the same, sometimes different.
I heard it's the same for Canadian orders too...of course we pay $24.95 for our background stamps in the Canadian catalogue...rip off...too bad it wasn't the same pricing no matter where you live.
Can't wait to order though...great savings to add to our collections.

I really don't think SU is trying to be unfair. They're just using the exchange rate. If it was the same price in every country, you would actually be paying less and SU would make less of a profit than they do from US customers.
Just for curiosity I found the current exchange rate between a USD and a Canadian dollar. As of today, $16.95 US (the price of a background stamp) = $19.58 CAD. So if the background stamps are priced at $24.95 CAD, it seems to be priced very high. Of course, the stamps may be priced higher to pay for government fees, taxes, etc.
I have been holding out for a long time.....but I couldn't resist any longer....I just ordered 2 backgrounds last week! UGH & Giggles at the same time! Just my luck! I know I want to still get Crosshatch & Houndstooth (got 7 others!) so I do I want Bitty Blossoms, Just Jeans or the Linen? (I have Canvas). Decisions, Decisions, Decisions! LOL!!

It's just the 16.95 sets. It also includes the holiday print, and the other backgrounds like it in the front of the catalog.

i know what you mean.. i just ordered three new ones last month too..
but oh well.. there are still others i *need* in april.
I planned on getting French Script & Linen this month, but now I'll wait. Have to figure out the 3rd BG stamp. I also have to rethink my order for this month - oh, gee, what fun!
