I borrowed my friend's Shapes & Shadows set and to save time, I cased several cards off this site (such inspiration you all are!). I was trying to just load them directly into my gallery without them showing up on the "daily" posts but they showed up anyway. Is there a way to NOT have them come up on the "daily" posts but to go directly into the gallery for the particular stamp set?
it is OK to CASE card ideas, we all are guilty of it and this is the best source for creativity you can find on the web! I usually mention that in my descriptions that I CASED it from someone here on SCS. I am always flattered if/when someone copies one of my cards. Don't worry and don't stop posting!!
I don't know if it is possible to post in the gallery without it showing up in the daily postings area.
Of course, you are more than welcome to CASE, but perhaps just post your original or "inspired" (what I call CASE-ing with a tweek...) designs to your gallery? I know I'd be upset if I saw exact copies of my work in someone else's gallery.
Novell, post away! I love it when I see someone took an idea of mine to the next level - or even did it exactly the same. It's the ultimate compliment to be copied

No need to apologize for CASEing!! Just mention in your card description that you CASEd or were inspired by whoever it is. Or if you can't remember who just say that. I agree that it is the ULTIMATE flattery when someone CASEs something I did...especially when they mention my name...WOW!
You can go back to the photos you've already uploaded and edit the descriptions if you want.
well I do note if it's cased or even list it as a "modified case" if I made changes from the original card I copied. I know it's okay to CASE but was trying to keep people from having to see the same cards over and over. I mostly just wanted them in my gallery for future reference. Thanks for all your nice comments. I love this place!
I have a friend that says she "Lovingly Lifts" items. So you would say..... "I loved this idea so much that I Lovingly Lifted it from......."
And then when they see it put that way they cannot help but feeling special
I don't think it's a problem to "see the same cards over again". Lots of times I see a card I love that is listed as a CASE and I think - wow - thanks for posting 'cause I missed it the first time!

Carol,
Glad you feel this way... I checked your gallery and noticed that I have 4 of your cards in my favs for future CASEing. I hope and pray I remember to give you credit if and when I get around to making my version <grin!> What can I say?... I like your stuff!!!
I love to see other people CASEING cards...makes me feel good! We are all one big community and I believe that at one time or another, EVERYONE has copied some sort of idea! If not, they are WAAAYYY more creative than I!
